SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Just got back from our annual two weeks of charters on the Mighty Hudson. Fish were moving in early on but water temps were still a bit cool in the low 50's. last week the temps shot up in to 56 to 60 by this weekend & the fish turned on! We had a couple of 20 - 30 fish days, but most days we concentrated on the larger fish boating 6 to 12 a day in the 10 to 30 pound range. Some reports of a couple of 40 plus being taken. Unfortunately vacation is over & back to work. Pulling the boat home later this week.

Here is some pics of a few we took with Happy customers! :)

Some sections of the river hold more schoolies then anything else. Once wr find areas with large arcs.....keep working them until they turn on! Pay attention to lure speed (probe make or break you with tide change), change up your lead lengths. This year 40 - 70 ft was the ticket!
