Sorry for the late report. Kade & I got on water @ 8:30 and fished 'til 12:30. We started out working 50 - 70 fow marking lots of bait and fish but couldn't get much going. Moved out a little deeper and started a steady pick of lakers on dipsys out anywhere from 140 - 300. Worked the riggers from 10' - 70' with only 1 laker at 60'. Took 7 between the 2 dipsy rods. All were 6 - 7lbs. Just as we were picking up, we took the hardest shot yet on a dipsy out 290'. It hit and ripped off 30' of line before I could get to it and was gone, all we got was the lamprey. ;(;( Kade is convinced it was a sturgeon :lol:
