Power Pro Downrigger Cable

Does anybody out there use power pro downrigger cable? Is it better than ss cable?

My middle rigger has AFW moss green braid. Nice on the hands and reties. During flea season I just run the line thru my fingers as the line is retreived and the fleas fall off. My two outdowns, one with SS and one with coated cable catch 4xs as many fish.....maybe the hum??

We also run the AFW braid on our corner riggers. Makes a mess with fleas, but we deal with it. Is it worth the money? Probably not.

Ok, Thanks guys, Just needed some input on the stuff, I need to replace the cable on my riggers and figured id ask, I guess i'll go with ss. cable.

I love power pro... On my scotties. For as rough my Riggers are they hold up.
