May LOTSA Meeting and Fishing Seminar - Tonite

On Thursday May 14 at 7pm the Lake Ontario Trout & Salmon Association (LOTSA) will be sponsoring a Seminar with Charter Captain Mike Johannes ( On The Rocks Sportfishing) on Spring Tournament Time King Salmon fishing. Mike has been fishing on Lake Ontario since the mid 1970s. In 1991 he started first mating on his fathers  chartering business. After his father passed away he took over the business in 2000 and has been doing it ever since on his 32 ft Baja Cruiser out of the port of Wilson. Mike has placed in the top 10 at many tournaments and won the Pro Am  Wilson Tournament in  2000. Mike also sponsers the Don Johannes Memorial Scholarship and  the Big Fish Fridays at the Pro am  tournaments. He will be talking about his techniques and tactics  the has made him a successful fisherman on lake Ontario for many years.

 

LOTSA is a group of mainly weekend recreational fishermen who are dedicated to the enhancement of the Lake Ontario Sport-Fishery including the pen rearing project at Olcott. Each meeting also features a sharing of information the current fishing conditions. So come join us and become more successful at fishing Lake Ontario!

 

The meeting will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 4487 Lake Avenue (Route 78 two miles north of Lockport), Lockport, NY 14094. The Seminar is open to the
