Back in business

Bought another islander last night. 1999 300 hours. The one I totaled was the upgraded version but this boat is in excellent condition as well.

Pick it up next week and get to rigging so I can be ready to defend my LOU Cayuga title.

RR, I had heard what happened. It is good to hear that you've got a replacement so quick and can salvage the season.

Yup that was me! You total a boat by having it fish tail at 65 mph out of control and have the SUV do a 180, thereby launching the boat off the trailer onto the pavement. Thats how.

I don't want to get into what happend as my Father was driving and he feels bad enough. Lucky no other cars were involved and we didn't hit anything. Tore up the rear suspension of my SUV to the tune of 3 grand too. Everything was insured, So no problem. We are alive, uninjured and ready to rig up the new boat.
