Fishing out of bear creek on monday

We went out on Monday night the water was really flat. we couldn't find a fish anywhere. we went out to 100ft. it's like they all left. i was worried my fishfinder broke. i was wondering if this heat had anything to do with this. thanks. Maisie

They should be tight on the shoreline under 15' of water. You wont get much out past that this time of year. If the water was real clear they were probably there just a little shy of the boat. They have been getting hit pretty hard around bear creek by all the boat traffic

Thanks Jeff. So you think because of the boat traffic they are a bit shy? hmmm. Maybe i'll try Sodus next time. I have read going East is a good thing. Maisie

We did 4 fish on sunday....All in 12 FOW or less....I think this rain will help our cause for the weekend. Next week we will be at Petroy in Youngstown. I can't wait!
