Side of my buddies house who does the European mounts. His was sitting next to mine and it was skinned and I didn't want to show a skinned head. Bad enough I posted cut off heads. I didn't have a chance to get any good full body pics of the deer this year. Forgot the camera.

Here are my two NY bucks. The reason I had to edit the pics on the 8pt is because they are getting a European mount done, and there was a half finished one next to my 8pt and I didn't want to offend anyone. Neither is a MONSTER, and I estimated them both to be 1.5 old bucks. However these are my 6 and 7th bucks ever, so they are trophy's to me.

I've fished the bay for Bass hard for years! Mainly b/c it was a 15 minute ride from work and I would hit the Bass up after work, but right before the Eye's started to bite. Last year I noticed the weed growth took a lot longer to flourish. This year the weeds were basically non existent. I found them sporadically, but the ones i found looked GREAT. The Bass started to relate to structure. Wood, docks, walls, and so on. These are the places that get HAMMERED becaue they are visual and people can get at them very easy. The tough structure to fish was that first drop. A lot of the bass were holding on that similar to how they do in reservoirs down south. However, you needed to find those sweet spots on those breaks. You cant catch them if you dont go, so go give it a try! I would start with search/moving baits though.

Ya'll know I'm runnin the Scotty's. I came from Cannon, and i used Walkers when i was younger on a charter boat. They all have thier pros and cons like anything in life. I must admit though that I can rig 3 rigger rods with cheaters faster with Scotty's than I could with any other rigger. On top of that I can run power pro on my riggers which i wouldnt trade for the world.

It should be starting to get into the great Smallmouth time on that lake. We fish it till it freezes over. If you want SM don't fish shallower than 22'. Its all sand till you get to the weed edge. I hear the LM were biting well at the North end, but that was a rumor. If its nice out Drop-Shot that 22-30' range and you should run across some smallies. I hear you cant beat that GULP.

well, i lost that property on Wyoming rd. The guy who gave us permission doesn't even own the land. I felt like suck an azz when the nephew of the owner came by and asked us why we were hunting there. WE weren't far from the Griffith Energy location though.
