  1. Yeah, he called me during your guys trip. Should be a blast! You in the same marina?
  2. Steve, we finally get you up to the bar and this year the Salmon are running late! I feel bad bro! They will luite up soon though and you wont regret it.
  3. I am in the process of obtaining that license too. The test, from what I read, is on the regulations in the sport your guiding in.. You need CPR which you get with ur 6 pack, and a physical which u need for your 6 pack. Onieda is a navigatable water so I think the 6 pack will work. Not many places you need a guides license for. Mostly finger lakes and adirodack lakes, and maybe chautaqua. If you want to guide on Conesus or Honeoye you need to obtain another license from the state and have your boat inspected by the state. Total cost per year is $40. This is only for Conesus and Honeoye. If you have a 6 pack they will waive theis test.

  5. There will b fish up there! Dont you guys worry about that. You might have to go to Canada though for the King action!
  6. On at 7 off by 11. Didnt get a hit! That lake is so tough. I saw 4 or 5 caught that whole time by other boats. Very frustrating. I would have stuck it out but the people I went with had short attention spands.
  7. Hey buddy! I would take ya up on the offer but I will be in CT this weekend fishing a bass tourney. All I can tell ya is find the dirty or green water. Most likely this will be off the mouths of creeks. Throw a variety of colors out until you find one that works. If you are fishing clear water stretch your lines further behind the boat. Other than that I think we all missed the good bite that was going on all last week. Hope for some rain and wind for a day or so!
  8. Ray, dependig on weather you might have to run 12 miles west to the bar or if your lucky just a few miles to the big red barn. It all depends on wind and water temp.
  9. Too bad Mark! The boat went straight to Mike at M&M Marine and I believe it willbe fixed today. You didnt miss much! With all the boat traffic out there the fish got spooky.
  10. Dropped in around 7 and fished till 9. Boat had some overheating problems so we couldnt troll down too much and had to keep throwing it in Neutral to rev the engine. Finally called it quits at 9. Plucked a nice 8lb bow off the boards on my noode rod and that was the ony action for the morning. That is until I came back with the bass boat and loaded up on some LM, most of them were small though.
  11. Whats up hommie? nice post! I will b out tomarow morning. Hope I do OK!

  15. I go 10' but I can do that with the boat I have. Your boat will decide how long a lead u can have. You have to be able to net the fish!
  16. Try the Wilson House, not the Wilson Boat House, and lakeview Motels

  18. Yeah! I ran Scotty's all year last year and never once had a ball bangin experience. But they sure are fast to re-set. Open the clutch ad as fast as they can fall they fall, and I have never had a lure come up and catch the cable. I have had weeds collect on the cable and move the beads. That sux!
