  1. 6 - 8'3" rods brand new in the plastic. BPS price is $50. Will sell all 6 for $250 or $45/each.
  2. Hey guys! Thanks for all the messages the past day or so. I have a funny story for you guys though. Im not going into details about this past weekend because of the tourney this weekend. Thursday night - get home from bass fishing and my dad tells me we cant leave for practice untill around 10am on Friday. So, I flip out and basically cancel the tourney for us. I didnt want to show up with no practice and get slammed by the guys practicing for 1-2 days. Friday morning - wake up with the intention of going to work and I get a call froma buddy. The words "wanna go to lake erie" come out of my mouth. So away we go to lake erie. Pull out of Sturgeon point harbor and run about 6 miles when the alarm in my outboard starts screaming. IM OUT OF OIL! SOB! So back to the harbor on the trolling motor. Get there around 12ish and get oil at $35 a gallon. Go back out and the lake kicked up. So, we head to Wilson to do some LM fishing. Get there and it rains on me. I get a call from Billy V and he tells me im stupid not to fish this tourney. So aftyer him and my brother hounded me for hours I finally said FINE and went to registration. So its Saturday morning around 8:30-9:00am. Just put the 10th Salmon in the box (this is after we started fishing somewhere close to 7:45) and I get the rods re-set. Im eating a sandwich and i look to the swim platform and there is a salmon bouncing on it. Its the fish we just boxed! All said and done it swims away! I call Mike Waterhouse to find out we can only bring in 11 fish now. So after day one we are in 2nd by 3 points. Sunday morning - Get out to the fishing grounds and the fish arent there as thick but there is still some salmon there. I opted not to go for the steel and cohos and fish just salmon. 4 wires, 3 riggers, 1 600' copper. We start wackin them but the size was down. All the big boys seem to spit the hook on us this day. at 11:30 we were at 9 fish and I made the decision to finish our limit with steel and coho. Put 4 rods on boards for them and within minutes we were hooked up with a nice 8ln steel. Get him in the boat and a DR fires. Get himin the boat and the dipsey fires. LIMIT COMPLETE!!
  3. Gotta make sure you look good! I had my mom pick that outfit out for me that day.
  4. Thanks boys! It was AWESOME! We had a really good time and we're getting ready for this next one!
  5. Nahhhhhhhhhh! There were pleanty of Kings around Sodus last year. I just wasnt good enough to dial them in REAL good. But if I were a local, similar to yourself, I would have them dialed in. Im not used to fishing that Eastern stuff! We always have Kings on the West side.
  6. Brown fishing is like Perch fishing. You get a lot of them but you have to sort through the tiny ones all the time! How fun is a 3lb Brownie on a DR pole? It's like trolling for smallmouth with a wire rod!
  7. Billy - You wouldnt know how to handle 20+ bites......let alone 30! Great job Erby! Now your hooked and Im sure you'll be back soon!
  8. I CANT WAIT! The marina has WiFi so I will try to post results both days. I will also be at 4c's. Should be a good time after fishing from whatr it sounds like.
  9. Its this weekend! I think I found one so dont worry too much about it, but if you or anyone else would like to observe for any of the Pro-Ams they are always looking for people!
  10. Hey guys, my observer for this tourney backed out. Anyone know of or want to observe for team Yankee Troller? We pay $75/day. $150 for not doing much, and learning from some of the top captains on Lake Ontario! Call me at 585-704-7996
  11. Hey bro! Thanks for the words of encouragement. The bartender was talking about you guys this weekend and how much you guys drank! He was amazed. We did have a good time though. Cant wait till you guys come back next year and please dont get my dad like that again. He was shot the next day!
  12. Another good day even though it started off on the slow side. Nice 20lb King was our highlight alond with a 13lb laker that fought like a teenage king. NBK's, Coyote's, Wings, and the usual coho and steelie colors on the surface. worked 150-300 fow.
  13. Smoked em again today! Highlight was a 9-10lb steelie. Many cohos and small steelies. Lots of small Kings too. The big ones eluded me today, although we may of had some on and they got off. Lots of salmon fell off the hook today. Best spoons had white cups. Worked 150-250 FOW. Fish the marks and up even if there arent marks in the top 40.
  14. I have a half day on Sunday and Im heading home. Be at the Oak on Thursday night.
  15. Worked 200-300 FOW. Surface temp 50-53 and 90 foot down ranged from 40-46. Worked the temp break and managed a boat load of cohos, 2 nice 8lb steelhead and had 8 Salmon on and boated 5 with the biggest tipping 20lbs. Best lures today were coyotes mupped, stinger chicken wings, and 42 spoon off the riggers. Cohos were taking ATOMIK Coho flies fished behind a 00 red dodger (2-3 colors of lead pulling it off boards) Lots of fun out here right now so if your looking for a place to fish this weekend it might be worth the trip!
  16. Pro Division here too! Im doing all 4 this year....wish me luck!
  17. Fished for 3 hours and did 2 for 5 on the kings. All 40-45 down on Chicken wings.
  18. If we would have went right in then it would be in 2nd aas of tonight. BUT when people dont but licenses this is whay happends.
  19. Fished from 9-11 and did 3 kings, 2 cohos, and droped one king. All fish came high between 30-50. Coyote 28 wasa hot for us today. Fishing 150-200FOW
  20. The Salmon in the area I was fishing were DEEP. They were laying on the bottom in 200-250. They would streak up to your lure when you passed a hungry one. The Cohos are all over the top, and if you target them you wont be able to keep them off your lines. All my Kings Thursday and Friday came 100-125 down. These fish are too deep for core.
  21. Smoked EM! Well, that is if you like cohos. 5/10 - For 4 hours strait we smacked cohos fromthe surface down to 10'. We were looking for steel, but no luck. Ran into 4 salmon bites, and one of them was 22 and 3/4's 4-5 hours after sitting in the cooler! 5/11 - played with the cohos for about an hour and it wasn't fun, so i pulled those lines and loocked for the salmon. Had 7 bites landed 5. all 10-18lbs. Hot lures this week so far are coyote 28's, chicken wings, and anything green. No real fly bite yet . Sitting in the harbor at the moment burnt as heck, and soar from fishing the last teo days! I wake up to a good ol' north east blow!
  22. Wilson Boat House for sure! Great facilities and nice people.
