  1. WE were having trouble getting the boat off the trailer. The able got embeded in itself for some reason. So we figured that if we backed up and stopped real quick it would come off. Well, that didnt work too well becasue when we got back tothe launch the powere winch was broken becasue of that. Oh well! Talk to ya soon!
  2. Dude, ya should have introduced yourself. I had JAX onboard too.
  3. I dont have my map on me so Im not sure where the point youare talking about is. I fished there for years but have choosen not to go there much anymore becasue the fishing got really tough. Cayuga was one of the prmier bass lakes in NY a few years back. OK, back to what you ned to do to catch bass in there. For smallies fish the points with spinnerbaits and jerkbaits in the morning. Charteuse is always a good smally color. LAter on in the morning hit the insde weedline for them. INto the afternoon I would target the outside weededge for them. The LM will be mixed in with the SM. For strictly LM go to the North end and fish the huge weedbed up there. Jigs and plastics will work.
  4. Fished out of Sandy Creek from 6am-12pm. Not sure the exact number we ran into, but it was a lot (Somewhere in the vacinity of 20 bites)! 50-130 FOW was the target area with 10 color cores being the best rig. Copper took its fair share out 300'-400'. Wires were HOT in the morning but cooled down towards the end of the day. Finally in the last 2 hours we got the riggers to fire consistently. Basically orange was the color today. ANYTHING with orange! Targeted the top 60 feet and the temp was in there too. No leaderboard fish, but we lost a 10lb steelie and boated a few 20lb kings. Everything else was teenage to skipper size. If I would have boated the Steelie we would have had a LO Grand Slam.
  5. Well, I guess I will see you out there then. Im leaving on Thursday.
  6. Well Tommy, when the big boat overheats I have to have a back up plan or else the day is shot! We were out to Sandy on Sunday but we had boat troubles. Everything is all fixed and I look forward to having some fun in a few days!
  7. Nice job dude! I got my biggest King last year off Rochester on this very weekend. I will be out of Sandy on Wednesday. I would imagine we could reach each other if your going the way most are out of Rochester. TTYL
  8. Aaron nice job bud! Keep a watch on them fish for us! I need to know where they are and what they want.
  9. 6/29 - practiced for the Avon Anglers tourney on Keuka lake. What a disapointment. I have heard a lot of good things from this lake. We caught 3 keepers all day. What a crystal clear/tough lake. We saw fish all over the place, but htey seemed to have lock jaw. Congrats to whoever won that tourney. If you want pickerel GO THERE! 6/30 - Went to Conesus and had a steller day! ME and my buddy kept our 5 biggest fish. In the end it was me with 15.4 and him with 16 even. Great day and a lot of nice fish. Our biggest five combined weighed in at 19.3lbs. All on soft plastics and jigs. 7/1 - Took my GF's 14yr old brother to Irondequoit. Got on the water around 12 and fished till 4. I was gtaking it easy on him until he said we were ited 3-3. OK, GAME ON! Broke out the senko and light his arse up! He finally dropped the tourney and I went back to my jig. Caught a beauty that weighed 4.8 on my digital. Took a bunch of other 3lb fish on the jig. I would hjave had a 17lb bag fairly easy. Gotta love that place!
  10. I have a friend in Dansville that is doing SWET wrk and winning a lo tof awards for it. He id my Largemouth last year and it came out amazing. Lanes Taxidermy

  13. Yeah GTN, he found out that the school of Lakers migrated West and to keep on top of them he moved his operation.
  14. Hey, the Runnin Rebel and the Yankee Troller are going to have to behave themselves out there on Sunday! See ya out there Jerry!
  15. They are easy to catch! Go to Lake Erie or Quite. It would be like me saying King Salmon fishing on Erie is tough and I hate it. OK, I know the 1000 Islands area has more Walleye than Erie has Salmon, but ou get my point. Bass put up nice fights! And its one on one with them unlike Salmon fishing where there are 3-6 guys on board.
  16. When Im bored at night I will go down and fish for them, but Im not gonna target something that doesnt fight back! Thats why I target Salmon on the lake and not Lakers!
  17. June 9&10 - Caught some good LM on bays relating to structure like breakwalls and wood. They were hitting Senkos, and Jigs fairly well. Smallmouth were hanging in 8-12' of water but ther size wasnt there. June 16 - Found the larger SM and they were chaising schools of emerald shiners in 6-12 FOW. Jerkbaits worked the best, but when you couldnt see them I was drop-shotting them off the ledges. June 16th registration for state tourney - Found out I couldnt fish the state tourney due to the fact I never paid a new national due.   SOB! I had about 12-13lbs located in 3 fish that I could of plucked first thing tourney morning. Anything after that was bonus. So there goes the summer! No dreams of the state team this year. June 17th - Fished an open tourney on Sodus and did average with about 10lbs. Fishing was tough for the biog guys. As many 1-1.5lb bucks as you wanted though.
  18. I run 25lb on my rigger rods. Then from the doc to the fly its 50lb Big Game. If your worried about loosing everything you have no confidence in your line and need to get rid of it. The part taking the beating from the teeth of the salmon is what you have to worry about, and thats the stuff from teh doc to the fly.
  19. Supposedly the blonde in the video was Tiffany Lakosky from getting close......what a hottie!

  21. Hey guys a spoon that was REALLY hot for me throughout May was a NK 28 Blue Dolphin with an orage ladderback right down the center. I will try to get pics up this week. I know a few other lure companies make this spoon, but I had to tape up my own. Give her a shot when your out there and Im sure it will produce for you!
