  1. Good luck and have a good time................I'm back in Pa. will be planting 100 tree's and if I have any more get up and go will get some more work done on the boat................
  2. No worry on the flea's till the temp of the water get up around the 70* mark then you best have on what Erbyjoe posted or be ready to bring them in hand over hand.
  3. sarge368 check this thread out : viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5033&start=0 and then just go back thru all the info here that has SENECA LAKE in the topic and your have information over load............ Then if you still have any questions just ask , I have Spin Drs. but don't use them Jason and Ray K LOVE them................
  4. They closed off the left side , so one boat launching for now.
  5. We opened up camp at Sunset on Seneca yesterday and as we drove by Lodi Point one boat was out. I just came back up now and one small boat was heading in to the park as I left. A big thank you to the N.Y. state park system for cleaning out the launch of debris . Looked like a small dump truck load they had taken out of the launch area. The back side of the launch has filled in more so large boats (24' or larger) launching on the left side (as you look at it) may have some trouble. My boat is still home with about 6 jobs I need to get done before I bring it up here , hope to be done by next weekend.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that fenceman. My condolences to you and your family.
  7. Dave I found one today and it's a home made one that was made up by the guy I bought this boat from. I also found two other single pads that we can make up like he did. I put them in my " Electronics- Bag" so when I see ya tell me where I put them...............LOL............
  8. Good post Ray thanks................ I was poking around looking into all of this a found this info as just a heads up for everyone : I found this and more info on this web page : http://www.myboatsgear.com/mbg/product.asp?prodID=600 I have the " HotMaps Gold East NE/GOLD-E Dec-2004 It's NOT very impressive for the finger lakes not bad for Lake Ontario. What everyone take on the NEW one's , they would give me $25.00 back if I sent this old one in if I bought a new one is it or was it worth it to you ???
  9. uglyokuma just disconect it where it hooks to the motor...... see if the motor moves with just finger tip effort. Try the steering to see if it is still hard to move while it is unhooked. If the motor moves free unhooked and the streering is still hard unhooked it's time to replace it. Each time the grease is added over the years some works into the cable if you try my hose idea above with just WD-40 it should help some but it only a temp fix.
  10. To get a extra season or just a little more time you can take the cable off at the motor and pull it out. The get a hose that will fit over it and clamp it off , load the hose with degreaser or penatrating oil and put air pressure in hose. Move streering wheel as much as you can then repeat till it get a little easer. You are still going to have to replace it more than likely. When I did mine I had to replace the throttle and shift cable a year or so later so you may want to just do it all now. Good Luck
  11. Dave I have some cannon style pinch pads for stacking if you want them. I don't stack rods any more so if you do I'll put them aside for you and you can pick them up when I get up there in a few weeks.
  12. Nice report Jason , hope to be putting my first one up in a few weeks................then Ray can pick on me for talking to myself..................
  13. http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... ct=WEATHER Zipcode for Lodi is 14860 wind out of the ssw is normal if it's forcast out of the north or west and is over 10 miles per hour it will be lumpy but fishable. 15 to 20 stay home or go to Cayuga where you can in spots get out of the wind.
  14. Sorry to hear about this Chris ,sympathys to you and the rest of the family .
  15. I broke down on Seneca a few times and the DISTRESS FLAG was better than the radio. At least someone from shore should/could see that. The cell phone is the best thing to have but just in case that's dead or you for got it that flag would be the first thing I put out !!!
