I got off the phone with Jason a little bit ago and we think charge us $10.00 for the thrid rod at least then we can SEE what the money went for...............
-
Why ??? That didn't piss me off what does is your state using your/my fishing lis. money any place they want. So if you charged me a X-tra $10.00 for trout/salmon stamp and spend the money on .................WHAT ???? We have two trout stamps one for state approve trout waters and one for Lake Erie and it's tribs. Those moneys go back into those programs the Erie deal has brought right of way along the steams for people to fish. What would my extra $10.00 do for fishing trout?salmon in your state.....................

Seneca 10-9-2008 It was so nice today I just had to go down and see what was going on. Fished the same water as the other day had a few hits with one hook up that I lost at the boat. Worked my way south , the water temp was stacked with 60+ feet of water at the or close to the same temp so I was looking for that sweet spot I had the other day. Never did find it but picked up two small salmon at just below the first temp break from the top down. I picked up two lakers in that area also and boxed one. I then ran back across lake and set up trolling back to Lodi picked up two lakers and put them in the box and called it a day at 3:30 pm. went 6/9. Laker were 21" , 22" and 22". Two with eggs and one had 6 sawbells in him....................still some fleas around but not a problem.
-
Lake George is in the that range may be you looked at that ??? :?:

Seneca 10-7-2008 This may be the last time out this year depends how tomorrow goes. After a cold morning I went down about 1:30 pm and was back at the launch by 5:30 pm. Went 14/20 landing 4 lakers and 10 landlocks. I boxed three lakers 21',23' and 25" all males. The landlocks were all about 10" to 12" I lost one nice one that's what kept me after them. Fishing the temp break a tad on the high side has put a lot of landlocks and rainbows in the boat this year. All salmon were the same spoon and the lakers were on a dodger peanut.
-
They were overboard on this at first but with good reason. I heard someone did some test with fish that tested with the VHS and after they were in the brine for some time over two weeks. It did NOT show up in the test the next time..............

Just a heads up !!!!!

Just a heads up !!!!!!

Fished west side from 9:30 am till 1:30 pm boated two lakers and 3 landlocks undersided (maybe just stocked in the past few days !!!!!!!??????). The lakers wre 24" and 25" no eggs in them , surface temp was 66.4* down temp was all over like yesterday but the landlocks still liked the break just to bad there daddy's didn't hit............
-
I use them with dodgers...............http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/store ... 00_100-8-3 If you get to a sporting good store around the Lake Ontario and some of the Finger Lakes ask them and most carry them un-rigged...................cheaper and you can use better line and hook than the junk they sell pre-rigged.
-
Just for you Tom......................
-
No perch today.......... Fished west side good chop out of the south surface temp. 65.8* down temp changed as I trolled north. Picked up a 17" rainbow,19" landlock and a small laker from 8:30am till 12:45...............rainbow and landlock on a clean spoon fishing temp. break and the laker on a dodger peanut down 81'.
-
I got back out again today 9-23-2008 worked the east side and picked up two lakers down 115' over 124' of water. Ran into weeds so I moved across lake and fished south water temp was differnt on this side. Picked up 6 more small lakers one sub-legal salmon and a 15.5" perch 87' down with a dodger peanut...........................
-
Then the Boyz from OhiO show up and we get out on the water one time................. Big Dog hooks up with a HOG after a few minutes the line breaks or the fish bit thru it. Here he is telling 101 reasons why he lost that fish............ after working that area and north of it I start trolling back across the lake because it's getting close to meal time. After we were more than half way across and over 470 feet of water the rigger down 81' pops with a fish and Aaron takes it............... He then tells Big Dog to watch how it's done................ Then into the net it goes (Pete was on shore so it was easy to net it)............... .............back on land a hand shake for a GOOD time................ The young TooT one more time with his fish.................. and the group....................
-
The next time out we were down to 4 fish total with Pete just getting a dink here is the two Frank and I boxed. Then we got into some bad weather wind, rain so I smoked up some salmon Pete had in a brine from our salmon trip. We got a call from Chuck that he was on his way with his son Byron and we were on the lake fishing till they got there..............you will have to talk to Arv about this I ended up calling him two times some how........................LOL.............anyway Byron hooked and landed two lakers and his dad Chuck got one. Byron working his first one in.............. Chuck fish........................ I took them out again and this time Chuck wanted to try for pike we didn't hook a thing , most of my pike gear was not in the boat I just didn't put it back in after I stripped every thing out for the salmon trip................... Susan and Celeste show up and I only got them out in the boat one time with Celeste landing a laker that her mom cooked up for her dinner that night. Heading out to find some fish.............. Celeste with her first laker.................... as you can see I didn't let Pete net it................
