  10. There are a number of very good units available to suit your needs & wallet. Do a simple search here for, Depth Raider, Moor Sub Troll, or down speed & temp units. You'll find a broad array of pro's - cons and comments on each. What's good for one is not necessarily the best for others. http://www.moorelectronics.com/fishing/fishing.html http://www.kelloutdoors.com/Depth%20Rai ... onitor.htm

  12. Same can be done with a Geyser style submersible pump on a timer or thermo switch.
  13. A good share of VHS radio transmission problem's are usually related to the primary wiring itself. The radio will draw between 5 and 7 amps in transmit mode and only around .05 in receive mode. That being said check how you have it wired in to the power supply. Is it tied into a fuse block or buss block with other accesorys running off of it and if so what gauge wire is supplying it? Ideally you should have a dedicated, fused, at very minimum 12/2g (10/2g) is better line directly from the battery to the radio. I would check that before spending unneeded dollars on something that's not really needed.

  21. Huge muskie caught on St. Lawrence River Published: Sunday, December 05, 2010, 7:23 AM David Figura/The Post-Standard As the weather gets colder and more miserable, the muskie fishing on the St. Lawrence River just keeps getting better, according to Todd Cerow, of the 1,000 Island Bait Store in Alexandria Bay. This week, Todd sent me this picture of Eddy Beers, who caught his mammoth, 59-inch muskie that weighed in unofficially at 56 pounds. Beers was a client on Bob Walter's charter boat. The fish was caught on Nov. 30 trolling with a BergerKing lure which is a Believer and a Williams spoon, Cerow said. It was hooked near 40 Acre shoals by Wolfe Island. "They tried to release the fish as all guides do, but apparently the fight was just to much for the fish and they had to pull it back out of the water, " Cerow said. " I have this fish in my freezer at the store, waiting for the taxidermist."
