  1. I know where there is a center box not being used I can probably get my hands on.. ( between seats) But not so sure about the deck box. I've got to give you a call later anyhow about the trailer deal. I'll let you know then.
  2. Stix: Your right FCV667. If you have the room for it, there isnt a better unit out there for the money. Just old school talkin here.
  3. Center hatch behind the seats in the middle of the deck should have a box under it unless the box has been removed. It was standard from Penn Yan for that year boat. Under the center hatch between the seats should also have a removable box under it.

    scuppers

If you feel as if you have to do away with them. Instead of drilling holes etc. for sheet metal. Look into standard automotive expansion soft plugs. (The rubber type you tighten the nut to lock them in.) Paint them after there in place and your all set. I'm thinking there is probably about a 2" hole thought the hull once you pull the old one's out.
  5. Ray: Relax: I havent even talked to Steve or Mark. Man is busy with more things than one.
  6. This product works well for sealing rivets. It can be purchased at other places as well. It won't break free or come loose once you apply it to a cleaned surface. Check it out
  7. Dang I was serious too. See where that got me.
  8. Erin: I try.
  9. Can I come too? Would like to see some new trick's.
  10. Run standard round balls, what ever weight your riggers can handle. With down and out's off the outer riggers. Unless there is a h*ll of a lot of down current you won't have any problems. Sides that D&O's catch a lot a fish. I don't run anything but them on the outside rigger's in deeper water. Just my two cent's But I'm new to this, might not work for everyone.
  11. Whow: Ya can tell it' mid winter and 5 below.
  12. Sorry I didnt get back before now. Give me a call. I'll mail you the number and yes you can put a delco on it. Not a problem. Starter for the 50hp might be.
  13. pmjasper : Every day is different in the spring, colored water, clear water, as well as other variables. Year around for that matter.. But there are a few tried and proven in the spring but nobody can say what is going to work from year to year. When your ready to come up in the spring, I'll be more than happy to let you kn what's going on and where, as well as what to use. I'm only 7 miles from Sodus, and most of us fish the same water. Jim (Abe) is a good man as well. He has many years up here on the water and he won't steer you wrong when you get here. Feel free to give a call on ch. 14 (call is L&M) or mail me before you come up.
  14. Steve is a big fan of these rods, or was if he is still using them. Maybe he'll chirp in on this one. I've seen them but never used them. Old school here. Open guides, and Ugly Sticks all the way.
  15. Dam Stix: What do ya do in your free time. And let's not get carried away with the grey beard part. I've been around a long time to get that.
  16. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid= ... 1&loop=yes Refresh it. It'll give you an idea of where the band is.
  17. Ray: You might want to hold off for a few day's. 100" in some spot's. The whole county is under a state of emergency. We just missed it here.
  18. Rat : On a side note great music (picts. too) on your site. Thinking I should be 20 years younger.
  19. K I'll bite: Full time charter since 75 both on the coast and L.O. Born and brought up on the lake but got the urge to do salt water for awhile  as well as the marine repair business it keep's me busy.
  20. All depends on who's sunning on it. I've found many of interesting ways to utilize the old doghouse.
  21. Ray There called Gill brackets. They are common on the coast both for performance and the reason you stated. More available room in the boat. Here's a link that pretty much tells it all . http://continuouswave.com/whaler/refere ... ckets.html
  22. There right, with common sense. Great hull & boat. You will be pleased with it. Need to pick or need some thing let me kn not a problem. Sparked a fire when I heard SeaCraft
  23. Easy: I thought it might be an older one. You don't have to say alot about the design or hull they are a top of the line boat. There weren't alot of i/o's made, most were o/b. I ran a 23 scepter for inshore trips off the coast in Delaware (well a lot to the canyon's too back in the early 80's and brought it back home (here) and ran trips for 2 years with it. It was an o/b with twin 90's on it. Sold it and the boat is still in the area. Good choice to go with the 350. As you said it had a ford as were most of the i/o's that were built then. Good luck on the restore. It'll be a great boat. Cant say enough about the hull and design. P.S. Can I get a ride in 4ta 5 ft'er's or so on plane when ya get it done? It will take it like a piece a cake. Seeing those pictures bring's back a lot of memories.
  24. Easy: What year is the sea-craft, i/o or outboard? Great hull and handling boat.
