  3. Maryland? Is it a salt water engine to start with? What Bill said is very valid and good advice for a fresh water engine, price as well. But now your throwing an other equation into it. How old and or what year is the engine? Was it run in salt water all the time and if so for how long?
  4. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/btmbnmolds ... 33073.aspx same thing I think. Just depends on what wire you use with it or make your own.
  5. Emty Try Net Craft. www.jannsnetcraft.com The should have them. I've got there catalog here & I'll look later on for you. But they should have them on there site as well. Click on Do-It Molds.
  6. Your on a roll again Ray.
  7. Smart choice Nick. Nobody is above making a mistake, and there is no reason to post a name right now untill you know what is going to happen. I kn I've screwed up a few times in my business and made it right, as I'm shur Paul has as well. Why slander some one where it can be seen by thousands of people on the net by one screw up and realy hurt his busness, as you said you were happy with his other mount's. Let us kn how it works out.

  15. Bill whats the matter with the radar you have? I rigged it when it was new and it has no time on it to speak of. If you do decide to go color let me kn as I would be interested in that one.
  16. I''ll 2nd that. If you want a quality mount that would be the place.
  17. Bitts: That motor was intended to be mixed 25:1 with the old type oil of it's day. With the new twc 2 stoke oils of today you will have no problem running it at the normal 50:1 ratio. IE:> 6 Gall gas To 16oz. oil
  18. Woody: Ck your Pm's & give me a call.
  19. Ray your to much. LMAO
  20. Pull the intake hose turn pump on and run rv antifreeze thru it. You'll be good to go.
  21. Better and less expensive, (Depth Raider) Not to speak of the support if you do have a problem.
  22. Do yourself a favor and go with the sub troll or DEPTH RAIDER. I ran a F-H for over 15 years and after I switched I wouldn't go back.
  23. John: My 23 was outboards twin 115's and i never lacked for power. Cranked out about 45mph with a light load. When I was on the coast where you see a lot more of them we serviced a fair # with i/o's as well and most were powered with anywhere from 200 up to 260hp range from different manufacturers. It all seemed to depend on who made them the best deal for that model year what they put in them but none lacked for power. I wouldn't be afraid to put the 230 in it as I'm sure you'll have plenty of power. But if you have the carb and manifold and the engine is out go ahead and put the 4bl setup on it a little extra power won't hurt. As far as cams go what is in it now will work out fine and still keep your trolling speed and idle where you want it. I've got to see this boat when your done! They are a great hull and boat as well as bringing back a few memories.
