  1. REBEL, Great way to save on gas, having Capt Bogart go find'em and you go catch'em
  2. Did Capt. Pat forget WHAT BOAT he was on....? I see it it was first listed as Freedom Charters......... Good one guys......... I'd like to hear what Capt. Jerry said when he saw it!
  3. Just picked-up new info about Oswego Pro-Am from another site: ATTENTION: Pro-am PORT OF MEXICO COMPETITORS http://lakeontariooutdoors.com/latest-news/web-cam.html After careful consideration of the logistics with regard to the time from dockside to Lake Ontario, we have adjusted the time when competitors may leave their docks in order to allow you to be on the lake at approximately the same time as competitors from Oswego. Amateur boats will be allowed to leave their docks at 5:05 AM and Pro boats will be allowed to leave their docks at 5:15 AM. Waivers will be collected (by net) at the Mexico State Park boat launch. In no case will any amateur boat be allowed to enter the lake prior to 5:25 AM and no pro boats will be allowed to enter the lake before 5:35 AM. Questions regarding this change will be addressed at the captain's meeting. 7. Good catch Steve, I'm headed to henderson for the weekend. Weather permitting I may hit Conesus monday nite......
  8. I'm going to buy it over there. When I called last week 4/16. they said it could take as much as 6-7 weeks to get it. I didn't want to be waiting for it with the LOC coming up. I know some guys got theirs in just 10 days but that was a while ago and I didn't want to take the chance.
  9. Jeff, 4C's and Lake Breeze marina's are where most dock and The Black North Inn (great eats also) is just a short ride away.
  10. Ray and Shellback sorry to hear of your problems, I hope they get resolved. I've heard just bad stuff about Lowrance/ Eagle also so I was a little leary in buying the lcx-25c unit I now have. (Good Price) I was especially so when after hooking it up, the Temperature portion of the unit wasn't working. The web site gave some info about trying some stuff to locate the problem. Anyways none of these fixes worked and I had to call the service dept. They gave me no problems and I had a new tranducer in just a couple of days,N/C. I'll let you know if this fixes the problem next week when I get the boat in the water. Maybe they're trying to get better!!
  11. Good job Tim, I hope to get there next tues or wed.
  12. Gambler, You'll like Sandy very much. Their isn't one bad apple that fishes there. Scott Bengsch (Silverfox) Scott...... you must not know Capt Bogart...................just kiddin Gary
  13. I stopped at Abes today and he knew nothing about a derby on Sodus. If anyone has info please pass it on.......
  14. Does anyone have dates for the various bass and/or walleye tournaments in the golden crescent? Any web sites that may list these? Thanks
  15. Check Longline's post........ONE, below yours.........
  16. There's a bunch of rod holders out there that will work. Titelock, Big Jon, Berts. to name a few. Stay away from ball mounts, plastic holders for dipseys they just won't hold up to the pressure.
  17. Could be, we really enjoyed it a couple of years ago and I think it falls a couple of weeks after Easter. St Catherines is a great place to visit and we like the format of the tourney. I'm not sure if I care about adding the observer this year!! It didn't seem necessary, but the purse is getting bigger!!!
  18. Found it........Spoonpullers......looks like a Great site. even though you let Yvan on it http://spoonpullers.proboards42.com/index.cgi Thanks
  19. Looking for dates for the Scotty's spring tourney out of Port Dalhousie? Is the web site updated yet? I heard there was going to be some changes? Yvon, Vito, where are you? Thanks, Guy
  20. Nice smallies, where were you Rick?
  21. Hank, I agree with you 100%. It's too bad that with technology today it's almost impossible to inforce the No-communication rule. Unfortunately when there is money involved there are those with no-integerity and will find someway to circumvent the rules. Therefore do not have a rule!!!! So sad !! Just my own 2 cents
  22. Reply with quote Rich, The Oswego is run now by Greg Gehrig.Chris Kenyon will be adding information later when he joins the board. _________________ Capt. 23. Yellow birds work great for spring browns without having to use a stout rod like for the bigger church boards. I like running lighter spoons and floating sticks then adding splits for depth. I also switch over the front releases to the Off-shore red or black for mono or the Church clip release for superlines
  24. Thanks Skeiner....... I found that to be pretty valuable info!!!!
