  1. Wind is still blowing pretty good out of the north. 2-3 with occasional 4' slamming the shore right now!!! Good luck and be safe guys!!!
  2. Dip the net 3 times after every fish, toss a coin off which rod we think will go next... Capt Rich
  3. Actually if you listened to what the trawls were finding last year, was the gobies are going deeper and deeper every year. So I believe we will see the LTs eating them more and more, especially since they are easier to catch for them. Salmon and lakers do eat pretty much the same food, esp when the kings are eating in that deep water, and the bait is down near the bottom due to temps. We need to sit back and see what happens this year. We can think and say what we want, Mother Nature in the end will level the playing field and everything will be fine. Take for example the die off of Steelies we had last year in the tribs. That was Mother Nature doing her job on keeping everything in balance. We can do all the research and studies, and try to counter act everything, but in the end she will prevail. Just my two cents. Now get out and enjoy the great fishery we have, whether it be kings, Browns, Steelies or lakers!!! Capt Rich
  4. With the north winds guys, you area will be in the ice box!! We have had the same thing down here when the south winds blow all our warm water north. The farther south you go, the warmer the water gets. If the wind shifts, the you will get some water and the temps back. Might be better to hang in the harbor looking for some trout along the south shore, just a thought. Capt Rich
  5. Installing a Simrad AP24 with Bluetooth remote on my boat now. Can't wait to get it done and in use!!! What type of steering do you have?? Capt Rich
  6. You slide the diver into this, and then you wrap the leader around the edge, so you can keep them all together, no tangles!!! Works awesome, I have all my divers in them!!! Capt Rich
  7. We did not have any debris in the water yesterday. We headed west on shake down, not to far, hit 3 in less than 2 hours but they were not in tight. With clear water work the structure and you will find fish. Our fish came on short cores with stingers stretched 120' back.
  8. That is great Tom, I did not know you were on this forum also!!! Thank You!!! Capt Rich
  9. Since you are pretty much dry storage, the electrics will work just fine. If you are a member of thehulltruth.com, there is a guy that works for Bennett, goes by Tabman, send him a message and he will give you all the info you need. He will tell you size, and any other info you need. Good Luck. Capt Rich.
  10. I was looking at possibly replacing my Bennett hydraulic tabs to their new electric tabs, and was told if you leave the boat in the water, they Recommend the hydraulic system. I understand what you are looking for as far as leveling with people, but like was stated before, they won't give you bow lift. Go to Bennett's website, loads of info!! Capt Rich
