The offshore steelhead bite can be amazing at this time of the year. Fish from the thermalcline to the surface with bright spoons and troll around 2.8 to 3.2 and cover lots of water looking for active fish. The immiture kings are we used to fish 100 down and they seemed to be in that zone.

I'm selling the old Fish Hawk 840. It comes with the probe, power cable, triducer mounting bracket and the monitor. I have a storage case from an old fish finder that the monitor fits in that comes free with it. The monitor surface speed display has not worked in 3 years. The down speed and temp still works. $150.00 takes it. I would rather have local pick up or meet somewhere in the Rochester area. I'm not a fan of shipping electronics.

X4 all the way. The other units are nice but the X4 IMO is the best. Asking for a better scorebaord is not asking for much. A simple excel spread sheet on the computer will not cost anything (since the pro division is already on computer). It takes a couple miuntes to set up.

No but the minor league stadiums have seats, luxury boxes, food vendors, cost a lot less to enter, and the players are not premaddonnas like you have in the majors. You are not treated (as a fan) like a second rate group of fans. If they already use the computer for the pros, there is no excuse why they can not make another spread sheet on excel and use it for the Open. It is just pure lazyness. If you want to draw people to enter the pro ams, treat the stepping stone well. If people get a bad taste in there mouth at the stepping stone level, they are sure as heck not going to make the splash to go to the Pro Division.
