  2. Simply just built better. Its a case of get what you pay for in my opinion. I dont consider myself a rod expert but overall the white diamonds have higher quality components and I dont notice it so much in the action but rather the overall feel. The white diamonds have dealt with the abuse on my boat a lot better too as I have only broke one so far (and it was 100% percent my fault). With that being said I have broke 12+ GLTs for a number of stupid reasons over the years. If you are looking for an entry level rod then the GLT rods are a good pick but if you are looking for a premium rod then the White Diamonds are the way to go.
  3. I love these rods! I got a few when they were introduced and since have upgrade all of my rods to these. They are a big step up from the GLT series.
  4. I saw a sailboat come in from the lake yesterday. Plenty of water at the mouth.

  12. Love the huge response so far! Ill keep the offer going!
  13. Honestly..... its down rigger cable. In its simplest explanation it is just a heavy weight ss line. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no fancy technology behind it or any mind blowing composition. And although it might be fish similar its about as similar to copper as leadcore is to copper.
  14. No worries... I will update my dates to reflect those for 2022. I havent seen anything official from Niagara County or Orleans yet...
  15. So the April LOCBA meeting we will have Chris Legard and Steve Hurst as guest speakers and would certainly be a good place to mention that.
  16. Spro and Dreamweaver
  17. So I have a continuous thread on Lake Ontario tournaments below. It is updated once I receive or see official announcements on tournament dates. So if you check the thread you will see a lot of the tournament dates have not been updated because of that. FYI Vince: Some of the dates you have listed for 2022 are actually for 2021.
  18. Its funny because I have better cell reception 2-5 miles out vs dockside!
  19. No sir. But our meetings are open to the public.
