If you can get the time to try and get on a boat as an observer for any or all of the Pro Am tournaments that's a great way to learn and get paid (usually) while learning Anytime you can get hooked up with somebody else on there boat is always a plus and there are always guys looking to get somebody to go out with them to add a couple extra rods to their spread (you may get tagged with the name 2 rods though ) Look over this site as much as you can and write down info to take along with you when you go out. Remember the only stupid question is the one you don't ask This is a great time of the year to ask questions because we are all looking to keep ourselves busy on here since we seem to have lost our Skienemachine -vs- Fishstix photo shop battle from back in the day. Ray hit on the head, but with that said I hung lights and stuff at my house (nothing to crazy) and my grand kids will have huge smiles on there faces when they show up at Papa's house and see them Hey Stan fishing makes you happy and having nice Christmas decorations makes her happy even trade if you ask me. Maybe I'll even enter it this time so that when I catch a fish again that would win me a thousand bucks I can cash in if they actually pay it out this time The fish I am holding in the picture next to my name at the bottom of the page is one I caught while out with King Me/Steve Drave that would have won that days $1,000 At least I can sleep at night knowing that I would not have gotten paid anyways
