  1. I have the Traxtech system. I take my riggers and rod holders off and store them in my cuddy and then lock the cuddy door. It only takes a few minutes. Brian(Goin Deep)
  2. You can get a 600ft copper set-up and mark the copper with heat shrink tubing every 50 or 100 feet. I think Atommik sells reels already set-up with the copper marked. Copper catches fish! Good luck! Brian(Goin Deep)
  3. Nice boat Tom. Looks like she has a lot of fishing room. Good luck with her!
  4. The wife got me a set of otter boats and my son got me a tool kit to keep on the boat. I made out pretty well!!! COME ON SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian(Goin Deep)
  5. Andy, I run a 15lb shark with a Mag 10 and the rigger has no problems pulling it. I use it primarily on my probe rigger. It really helps w/ the blow-back. Hope this helps. Brian
  6. The wife needs some Christmas ideas ....Any idea who might have these in stock? Brian(Goin Deep)
  7. If you are going to have it just for your kicker motor, the TR-1 autopilot might be what you are looking for. I have the TR-1 on my 2150 Seaswirl and like it a lot. It can do almost anything from zig zags to figure 8s. It's can also be hooked up to a GPS. The only thing I don't like about it is when I'm in waves larger than 2 feet, it has a hard time staying course. I might have that problem with any autopilot on a 21ft boat though. Brian(Goin Deep)
  8. With the Fish Doctor as her grandfather, she probably knows more about salmon fishing than a lot of us on this board! Brian(Goin Deep)
  9. I have a couple Mag 10s I need to sell. They have adjustable booms and are only a few years old. I'll let them go for $200 each. PM me if you are interested. Brian(Goin Deep)
  10. Anyone have a guess what it might score?
  11. This buck was taken by a 14 year old Amish boy near Dalton WI . He used a hand made long bow and made the killing shot by stalking the huge buck using corn shocks for cover. The boy's family would not allow him to pose with the trophy animal for pictures so a nearby neighbor, Willie Flacid posed and is also acting as spokesman for the Amish boy. According to Flacid, the Amish family has already received several offers from outdoor sporting companies to purchase the trophy. No dollar amount has been announced yet, but according to Flacid, 'the amount of money being offered is enough that no one would ever be hard up again.'
  12. I fished the Little Salmon River Challenge last year for the first time and felt it was a very well run event. The only thing I would DEFINATELY change is the awards part of the event. The pole barn where the awards were given out was too small and a lot of people (including myself) had to stand outside and couldn't hear what was going on. The only thing about the event I would change is to have the awards ceremony outside so everyone can hear what is going on. Brian(Goin Deep)
  13. Honda 8HP 4-stroke, 25-inch shaft, electric start, tiller, low hours. Asking $1400 OBO. I'm located near Quakertown, Pa. PM me or call 215-896-2296 SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
  14. Very nice buck!!! Congratulations!!!
  15. I guess he forgot about the gun on his hip? He's VERY lucky!!! Brian(Goin Deep)
  16. A lot of the good areas out west are draw areas and it might take a couple years to draw a tag. I've been putting in for New Mexico for archery elk for 4 years and still haven't drawn yet. I usually book my hunts through a booking agent. Bullseye Outfitters is the one I've used the most. They have never put me on a bad hunt yet. Check out their website: www.bullseyeoutfitters.com Good luck! Brian(Goin Deep)
  17. I buy Walmart brand dryer sheets and put them EVERYWHERE and haven't had a problem with mice. I cover the floor and put them in the drain plug hole. Brian(Goin Deep)
  18. I agree with Iceman...Having an observer keeps me out of the Pro Ams also. I understand observers help keep the cheating down. Like Rod said, make the amature class now be a semi pro class and then have a "NEW" amature class that doesn't require an observer. Maybe have a Pro class, a semi pro class and an amature class. The new amature class would be only able to win trophys. Hopefully with no money to win, people would be less tempted to cheat. Brian(Goin Deep)

  20. There are a lot of features on this site that are only accessable by becoming a professional member. Also, I think $20 is a very small price to pay considering all the info and knowledge we get and all the new friends I have met from this site. Brian(Goin Deep)
  21. T-barb, That looks like a pretty neat camera! I think infrared is the way to go. I think the flash does spook some deer, not all (IMHO). I have 2 Moultree infrared cameras and one Cuddeback flash camera. Here are 2 pictures that makes me believe the flash can SOMETIMES spook deer. These pictures were taken 2 minutes apart. I do like my flash camera and will continue to use it though. Brian(Goin Deep) [/u]
  22. Connect a swivel to the wire and then connect the dipsey to the swivel. Here's how I connect the wire line to a swivel. (complements of LOTSA) http://www.lotsa.org/Wire%20Line%20Knot.htm Brian(Goin Deep)
  23. Yet another invasive species we have to worry about. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080815/ap_ ... sive_snail Brian(Goin Deep)
