  1. This cool weather we've had lately really gets my mind on archery hunting:!: I have 2 cameras on the farm these pictures came from so hopefully I'll get a better picture of that big one. Brian(Goin Deep)
  2. These pictures are from a farm I hunt in southeast Pa. I'll post some more pics when I get them. Brian(Goin Deep)
  3. Here's some places in Fair Haven you could try. It's about 20 minute drive to Oswego or you could use the free public launch in Fair Haven. Good luck! http://www.fairhavenny.com/business.html Brian(Goin Deep)
  4. There seems to be a lot of LOU members from southeast Pa fishing the eastern part of Lake O. I'm from Hilltown and I know of at least four other members that live within 15 miles of me. Brian(Goin Deep)
  5. Check this one out: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templ ... hasJS=true
  6. I run 3 downriggers. The 2 corner riggers each have a 13lb pancake with the fin slightly bent. I run a 15lb shark weight on my center rigger. My center rigger is also my probe rigger and the 15lb weight helps with the blow back. Brian(Goin Deep)
  7. Yankee, I have heard a lot of horror stories about bear hunting in Maine. I know a lot of guys that have hunted Maine for bears and they see few if any bears and they are usually on the small side. I would go for the pronghorn hunt myself. If you don't have an outfitter in mind, use a booking agent like Bullseye Outfitters and let them put you in contact with a reputable outfitter. I booked a few hunts with them and have never been dissappointed. Good luck! www.bullseyeoutfitters.com Brian(Goin Deep)

  9. Team Goin Deep will be there. We will be going out of Fair Haven. Brian(Goin Deep)
  10. He needs a fishing rod. Brian(Goin Deep)
  11. With optics, you get what you pay for. If you want a great spotting scope and you don't mind spending a few bucks, buy Swarovski. Brian(Goin Deep)

  13. I run pancake weights and love em! DON'T put more than a 15 degree bend in the tail or like Legacy said, they will swim instead of track. Also, make sure the tail is bent away from the boat or they will cross. Good luck! Brian(Goin Deep)
  14. I run wire with a dipsey. Copper sinks at a rate of approx 22ft for every 100ft out and is not meant to be run with a dipsey. I run my copper set-up down the chute and let out whatever amount of copper I need to achieve my desired depth. Brian(Goin Deep)
  15. Wire doesn't collect fleas like I think the fireline would. Brian(Goin Deep)
  16. Try this: www.littlesalmontackle.com/events.htm I've shopped there. They are very helpful and have a very good selection of Salmon tackle. Brian(Goin Deep)
  17. Try this one. http://www.atlantictowers.com/ Brian(Goin Deep)
  18. Does any body have any info on the Mustad Challenge? I heard it is on June 28th out of Oswego but haven't heard any other details. Brian(Goin Deep)
  19. There is great shore fishing on the Oswego river. If you want to rent a boat, Anchor resort in Fair Haven rents boats. Good luck and welcome to the site. Brian(Goin Deep)
  20. I live over 200 miles from the lake. This year I am going to leave my boat in Fair Haven instead of trailering it every time I go to the lake. Not only will I save gas but I'll also save on tolls and wear and tear on the boat, trailer and my truck. Brian(Goin Deep)
  21. I too run 4 downriggers with an 8ft beam. I run 13 lb torpedos on my center riggers and 13 lb pancake weights on the corners. My pancake weights have the fin bent approx. 15 degrees to make them track away from the boat. I have never had my riggers cross. If your riggers cross with bent fins on the pancake weights you are probably have the fins bent the wrong direction. Good luck! Brian(Goin Deep)
  22. Chris, It's about time you joined the site!!! Good luck on selling that Islander. Brian(Goin Deep)
  23. The Simrad AP16 is for boats over 25 feet. I think you need either the AP12H or the AP14H. Good luck! Brian(Goin Deep)
  24. I thought the same thing....If they are adding 10% ethanol to the gas and your gas milage goes down 10%, we are still using the same amount of gas aren't we? Brian(Goin Deep)
