  5. This story is all to common with Lowrance. Feel bad for you guys.
  6. Cheer up. I have some contacts that I can trust what they tell me on both shores around the lake and the Salmon are being taken in other areas. At this point I am confident they will show up this season unlike last year. Lets hope I'm right. Now I'm going to bow out of this thread because I really don't want to get into a pissing contest. You rec guys have my full admiration out working your asses off putting in your time trying to put fish in the boat when they are few and far between. You do it for the love of the sport and nothing else.
  7. Thanks. Appreciate that. Straight forward hard work and putting smiles on as many different faces as I can is whats it's about for me. No BS, no adjendas and no secrets involved in todays catch. Bells and peanuts, Flashers and flys, straight 30 lb Ande from the bottom of spool right to the snap swivels. Seems to work for me. Good fishing, Glen
  8. Heres the post I was referring to Rich. There ain't many Salmon in Mexico Bay yet period and this didn't seem like a report to me. As far as me posting reports, I used to post a lot when I was a recreational fishermen. Since I started my business I just fish, mind my own business and make my customers as happy as I can. Hope you have a great season. Todays trip.
  9. Jesus Rich. From the sounds of your first post it sounded like you were hitting some fish. How many hours per fish you putting in?
  10. You could always change the arm if it's not an automotive style. Not that much money.
  11. I been running a couple of Tekotas with dry carbon washers for 2 seasons now and they are fine so far. These are pulling dypsys with wire so they take some abuse.
  12. How do you get it off the upholstery, floor and walls of the boat big Dave? LOL
  13. Much more than 15 ft of lighter line and you will have problems with fleas. Splice the lines together then attach swivel. You can splice using a knot or a small spro bearing swivel in either size 8 or 10.
  14. I'm hoping his hat still fits him after this post. LOL
  15. Tough to beat Hank. Man knows his business.
  16. Scotty pinch pads.
  17. Call Hank, L&M from this board in Port Bay. Man knows his business.
  18. You could call a couple local marinas and see if they could recommend somebody.
  19. Just got back from watching the sunset at Mexico Point. Shes laying down.
  20. BINGO !!! However as in any situation there are exceptions. If that boat is outside all by himself fishing, and you see his net go a couple times and you move into the area he is working then the responsibility is on you to give up the room. Just a little common sense as well as a little common courtesy. The two go a long way in making for an enjoyable day. Happy fishing.
