  1. And those of you that do not know, ( and don't get mad at me Mike), Webster Eye Care is a HUGH supporter of the Sodus Pro Am. along with other tournements along Lake Ontario. It's always nice to support those that support us. That's what keeps the tournements rolling.
  2. I know of a 26' Baha that will be for sale after the weather breaks. Very nice shape I might ad. Call Dane at 585-217-3033.
  3. Adk1, The Sodus Pro Am draws boats of all shapes and sizes. To answer your question, it all depende on $$$ and your location. There are several ramps for trailered boats to launch, some charge a small fee (private), some are free (State owned). Lodgeing goes from trailer parks to fancy bed & breakfasts. All depending on what you want. Wayne County tourism has info on everything you might need. Contact them on line and they will send you all the info you need. They helped run our tournement for several years and are still major supporters. Plan your trip early as it gets pretty busy in the summertime.
  4. DITR06, There several charter captains on this forum, myself included. And lots of friends of charter captains. So I'm sure you will get several replies covering the entire Lake. And by the time you want to make a choice, you will be more confused than ever. Most captains will get you fish and you will have a great time on our Lake. Species, time of the year, etc. will narrow it down some, but not much. You'll have a great time but I think you will be tired of reading the posts that respond. Good luck and good fishing. Capt. Dane
  5. Contact Gail on line @ Sodus Bay Rentals. She does lots of rental property around the Point.
  6. Yankee is spot on with his above post regarding Krenzer's. He is a big supporter of the Pro-Am circut and Pen-Rearing Project also, as is Arney's Marina.
  7. He lives on Haley Road off Lincoln Road, just before the Lincoln Fire House. Does great work, clean, quick and honest. There, I should get mine done for free this year with that endorsement.
  8. Just show up there. Plenty of fish being given away.
  9. Try Abe's or Capt. Jacks. Not sure if they have any left or not. They both support the tournement in a hugh way. And it's not too late to enter j14spocket. Cash only, and register at Krenzer Marine. See Tim or Julie. They are handleing entries. I'm a little shocked at the number of AM entries. We changed several of the rules to accommodate AM boats, and there numbers are not real high. Come on guys, step up, it's a fun time.
  10. Dodger, you are in. Our bookeeper has an excell sheet with all entries that are paid. It has other info on it also that is not for this forum. We will work on it Monday and see what we can do.
  11. check on line. There are places from $40. to $140. a night.
  12. Al, I just checked and they have your registration and fee paid. Checks will be deposited asap. For your info, we had to change the way we handled the money this year thanks to IRS, so we have some bugs to work out. And your concern is one of them. So your good and see you in July. Thanks. Dane
  13. Several meetings taking place the past two days firming everything up. Rules, Sponsers, Registration, etc. Web site will be updated soon. May not have all info you want but will be updated as we go along. New blood brings new and better ideas. Stay tuned.
  14. Meeting Wed. with possible sponsor and others trying to get other details ironed out. Let's keep it rolling.
  15. Chad, Your not getting older, your getting wiser. Have a great day and congrats on the upcoming addition. I understand "Uncle Jerry" is a great babysitter also. db
  16. Try Tim at Krenzer Marine, Sodus Point. They sold several of them back in the day and have a few old ones still kicking around that they are selling parts off of. They may be able to help you out.
  17. JUST A REMINDER. Tomorrow, Friday May 3rd, at 11:30 AM we will be getting our net pen chinooks. Arney's Marina on Rt. 14. Could use a hand if anyone is available. If you have never seen it, it's pretty cool to watch and pitch in.
  18. The chinooks for the pen rearing project will arrive Friday, May 3rd, at 11:30 AM. Location is at Arney's Marina on Rt. 14. Due to the low water, the pens were put out in a deeper location than past years. Not sure if the trucks will have enough tubes to shoot the fish far enough. So we may have to do a bucket brigade this year. That means we will NEED MORE HELP than usual. Please try to lend a hand if you can. Thanks
  19. Just a quick THANK YOU to the guys from Lodi and Huron for their help with the pens today. Good thing the wind was not blowing any harder!!!!!!
  20. Just a reminder. We will be putting the net pens together and placeing them in the water on MONDAY, APRIL 22, AT 9:30 AM. Location is in the rear of Katlyn Marine Boat Storage Barns on Margaretta Road. Off Rt 14, first left turn past Arney's Marina headed north. It should take no more than two hours with enough help. Help support this great project by lending a hand. Thanks in advance.
  21. When I mentioned the location on Margaretta Road for the location of the net pens,I stated in the rear of Hollingsworth"s Fab shop. I guess the name has been changed to Katlyn Marina Boat Storage. Sorry for the mis information, old habits are hard to break. Glad to hear we will have some new faces there to help. Anyone is welcome to join us. Rain or shine. Thanks in advance.
  22. The only tools needed are side cutters to cut the tie wraps. The trailer would work great. Dun mp truck, maybe a little overkill. And helpers, can always use them. Thanks for the reply and see you Monday.
