    ted did u fish the trout derby i pretty sure we kept running the same area i have a v18 tracker targa.how did u do that weekend we catch a few small ones

    ya there is no respect on the lake they will run right threw your setup.a few yrs back we had a small sail boat run right over our top line and we were trying to tell the guy it was there but that didn't work so it hook the bottom of his little sail boat and rolled it right over and god forbid ur anchored they will run up so close you could touch them with a rod.

    i didn't know seagers was selling sawbellies anymore i remember they use to but that was 20 yrs again.i can't remember the old timer who sold them there my uncle was one of the guys who use to supply most of the sawbellies

    does anyone know if the bait shop/souvenir shop has any sawbellies and if they are going to open early for the derby.i usually get them at the bait barn when i'm up fishing but we rented a cottage on the north end this yr so the bait barn i out of the way.thank you for any info

    NO BOATS ON HONEOYE & CANANDAIGUA LAKES No motorized boats will be allowed on Canandaigua and Honeoye Lakes in Ontario County. The sheriff, Phil Povero, says this will go into effect on Friday at 8 a.m i hope the water goes down i am planning on a trip to fish the canandaigua trout derby in 2 weeks might just stay home if i can't use the boat
