    Fish 2 and 3 from the top are def brookies. Nice!

    Ice fished Canadice sat evening out from the launch for smelt. Ice was about 8" thick. Started in about 80 ft not knowing what to expect. Didnt mark much of anything then moved into 20 ft. Had marks all night. Only landed a perch. Used hali jigs with 1-2 small flies rigged above (size 12-16). Water was stained from the recent runoff and snowmelt. Hoping to try it again. Read past reports of ppl catching quite a few. Had some light taps on the line but never connected. Will have to try tiny spike pieces on small bare hooks next time instead of flies. Hopefully water is clearer next time. Any other suggestions?

    Reeltrout, my son and I were thinking of going to oneida at some point soon. We even got permission from the boss (wife) to play hooky from work/school. Any suggestions for access? Where did you go out of if you don't mind me asking? North shore or south? Had a couple spots in mind but wasn't sure how parking is. Looks like chapman is quick access to deeper water. Any help is appreciated.

    Had 2 similar experiences there the last couple weekends. The fish gotta be there somewhere. Decided to hit up a couple different lakes in the mean time.

    Wanted to update this past post as I was able to find what I needed from Cisco. They were able to accommodate my lowe with something similar to lund mounts. Picture below. Dave was great to work with eventhough my order wasn't very big. Def recommend cisco to anyone. Also they're removable which is great for when the family wants to enjoy the boat.

    Hi all, looking to diversify a bit more with my lures and spoons. Picked up some scorpions. Mostly fish the finger lakes and Ontario occasionally. Assuming i'd mainly be using them for silvers (browns, rainbows, landlocks). Some of the patterns...pink tuxedo, chicken wing, green glow alewife, monkey puke, chicken shack, mixed veggies. Any other scorpions that you'd suggest or is that good enough?
