  1. Bought without knowing theyre too heavy. Asking $100.
  2. Looking to sell as package. 2 Cannon unitroll downriggers with swivel bases and two #10 weights. Asking $400.
  3. I'd think the regulations from the lake to the first barrier upstream still stands otherwise they would have announced a more specific change. Also, why does the DEC close walleye season on Skaneateles? Surprised they don't keep it open year round if they want those walleye out of there.
  4. Looking for a couple traxtech bases for scotty downriggers. Any help appreciated.
  5. I know it's been a while but is this/these still available?
  6. Was able to speak with Hank. Parts are on order. His advice was def appreciated. Great guy! Just want to make sure I do the right thing as every situation is different. Good point about having 2 separate tanks Sk8man. The kicker has its own tank so it'll be like having 2 separate ones.
  7. The kicker doesn't have a charging system. I do have a perko switch but it's just an on/off for the one battery. I see they make switches with multiple on/off settings. Maybe it'll be on YouTube.
  8. Lots of boat questions lately. Thanks to everyone for your help. Next one...my boat has a battery to start the motor. My electronics are also plugged into this one battery. However, I have a kicker that I'll be running while trolling and running electronics (while my main motor is off). What do I do so I don't drain my main battery? Buy another to have onboard? Connect 2 in series? Again thanks in advance for help anyone can give me.
  9. Thanks for all the input guys. Also, sent L&M a pm.
  10. The connections might be different between the motors or just hard to access the hose for the big motor. Gathered up the parts. Seems pretty straight forward. Both units have filters under the cowling. Thanks for the help.
  11. The main motor is a 115 hp merc and the kicker is a merc. I'll have to check to make sure the connections are the same. Might have been thinking too much.
  12. I second the mid January end date as Roys requested.
  13. Looking for access to the main lake. Have a 18' lowe. How much clearance is there at the bridge? Does anyone know if the bay is ice free or launch is open?
  14. I've got a new to me boat that looks to me has an additional gas port. It's not hooked up but I'd like to run a line from my tank to my kicker if it's what the extra port is for. I've posted some pics below to help explain. Correct me if this isn't what the extra port is meant for. How would I go about running an additional line to my kicker? Just put a "T" in for the line that runs to the main motor or am i over simplifying things? Any help is appreciated.
  15. Just wondering if you guys do anything specific with the leftover line on the weight retreivers when trolling? Do you just cut the excess? I have 3-4 ft leftover when the ball is at 90°. Any help is appreciated.
  16. Thats how we did it for some of the net surveys for region 6 dec if the two couldnt be distinquished. Some of the lakes had splake and brook trout. Only real way to tell.
  17. I say, way to go. I'm sure there's plenty more where that came from. Bass looks legal to me. I love catching and releasing. Feels great to watch a fish swim away after catching. I know one thing. My son would want me to keep those as he's adamant about catching and cooking. Been teaching him if you catch it and let it go you can catch it again someday or someone else can. If you catch it once and keep it you better use it. Work in progress with him. He'll def understand when he's older. Those are brookies. Plump brookies. You'll see some good pictures of splake in the picture section to compare to. The brookies in this post have square tails. The pictures of splake in the picture section have forked tails like a laker.
