  1. A heavy braided line will work very well. The releases slide down nicely.
  2. George told me someone was waving at us, but I can't see very well at distances. Did you wind up putting anything in the boat? East of the river the water was a bit dirty, but the water west of the Genny looked great and I thought we were in for a good day. It seems that everyone out had the same kind of day.
  3. Got the boat in the water and turned the key, dead battery!! Thanks to the guys who gave me a jump to get going. Set up east of the Genny and fished east for a while with nothing happening. Turned back towards the west and hooked up with a coho in 22 fow right off the river mouth. This would be the program the rest of the morning. Every pass took a fish in the same spot. Landed 4 browns and the one coho. Beautiful day out there but the fishing was slow. All sticks off the boards, 1rigger hit on a smithwick rouge which was the coho.
  4. Jeremy I hope you have a great day, and definitely get some presents nfor the boat.
  5. I hope to have my boat this weekend. I should be ready to go. No work this weekend either! Fish ON!
  6. Looking for 16lb rigger balls, anyone know where I can purchase these? Thanks.
  7. Can anyone steer me to where I can buy 16lb rigger balls? Thanks in advance.

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: Total Boated: Species Breakdown: Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ====================Launched out the Genny around 6:45am and started out in the bowl between the Genny and I bay. Water was pretty stained and we stuck it out a while. After 2 hrs of nothing we ran to I-bay and set up east of the bay. We ran all sticks, black/silver, firetiger, and black and gold with orange belly. Water had good color and temps pretty much were 37 degrees. We fished 7-12 fow and went 7-10all browns. The biggest was around 10-11lbs. Things kicked up from the NW and we pulled at noon and made the bounce back in 2-4fter's. All in all a decent day to start the season.
  9. Can't wait Scott. Team Reel Drag will be there. ( without nose hair flies!!)
  10. Nice rig Jeremy. Does this mean that you are going to fish some Pro-am's? Good luck buddy. It even smells like fish from here!! Joe
  11. I have run both lines. Maxima in Ultra Green is all I use, both for trolling and on all my other set ups except my Center Pin. The 30# resists the fleas well. As a matter of fact my wires collected more fleas than the Maxima. The toughness of this line is unreal.
  12. I have 2 12" gimbal mounts available. Joe B. 585-362-6713.
  13. This rod is in brand new condition. It was only used sparingly. 100.00 is a firm price.
  14. I have used this rod for 3 seasons for a 400 copper set up. Paid 180.00 for it, will sacrifice for 100.00
  15. Does anyone have a local source for 7 stand trolling wire in 1000' ft spools. Rochester area
  16. Jerry, I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. We will keep you in our prayers.
  17. We had a little cooler water to the east. At 105-110 down we were in the upper 40's. It ought to be an interesting weekend.

Two quick hits with no one home. That was our night. Fish everywhere from 100-130fow. Meat, spin doctors and spoons. NBK Spin Doctor had the 2 hits. Beautiful night out there. Threw everything at them. Active streaking fish all over the bait. Be out again on the weekend.

We struggled a bit yesterday only landing 5 fish for our 7 bites. Fish that 80-130 fow 1 king around 21lbs a skipper, 2 browns and a steelhead about 9lbs. Tough day, but the morning was beautiful after that 1st batch of storms rolled through. Big king came on a NBK Spin Doctor and green Hammer fly, Stingray NBK and stingray Gator took the rest. 70-105 down.

They had a great time catching fish. The smiles on their faces after landing several kings was worth a million. We landed 4 good kings up to 24lbs and lost 2 more big guys due to break offs, one on the copper after a 15minute battle, and another on the wire diver parked at 260 on a 2 setting. Fished east of the creek today. Alot of lakers today in the catch with a few steelhead and skippys mixed in.
  21. Can anyone tell me where to buy the new Rhys-Davis herring strips.
  22. Thanks Rich, I kind of thought that's what it was, but I wasn't sure.
