Just couldn't land what we hooked. Wound up 7 for 23. Some of the hits were short strikes with no one home, overall we just couldn't land any. I think we went at least 14 or 15 bites before landing our first fish. Beautiful day out there. No lure was hot, with hits coming on a variety of spoons.
  7. I was also out of Sandy last night. 10 fish landed, 12ft - 30ft down over 40-50fow. Bait was suspended between 15-25ft down. There was quite a bit of bait out there. Hot spoon was a stingray size Gator which took 7 of the 10 fish. Never moved very far from the creek due to the weather.

  9. Happy B-day Jeremy!! See youon the big pond.
  10. I've had mine now going on 4 seasons. I like the unit and the light percentage is a good tool. I don't believe in the depths that it reads and it doesn't coincide with sonar's readings.Down side is I've had 2 probes fail in 3 seasons. Cannon has replaced my probe 2 times for free.
  11. Rob, Keith, Mike, and Scott. You guys did a great job of putting this together. This event was well thought out and organized. I look forward to next years event as I think this will only get bigger. I also would like to thank the Engle ladies and the other folks who pitched in to make this a success. On a side note, we must keep Charlie( King Samon) as the MC. He was great. Thanks to all.
