I was told by biologists at the boat launch at Mexico bay that last year they had a large run of two year olds along with the three year olds. They state they don't know why. They said the run this year will be very low in numbers because of the twos running ,they are the ones that would have run this year. I don't see the numbers out there. I was at the river today and there were no mature ones at the hatchery yet. I saw a few browns. Usually this time of year I would see more at the hatchery by now. Fish cleaning guys aren't seeing many fish. I trolled past couple days in 80- 120- 40 and only saw a few, I caught one coho at 100. I caught limit several times near Labor Day and a few here and there.This year sucked. They say Oswego was better.

Fished 135 feet targeting lakers, I was just trying out the boat ,shake down cruise, unbelievable I'm not in summer derby and we boated 4 lakers in the evening one 25.4 lbs and one 23.4 lbs I will probably shoot myself because of not being in the derby just went out to run things, caught both on rr Mountain Dew with hammer. 110 down.

Filet, take all the skin off, cut off belly meat and chunk. Then coat egg role in batter, deep fry , no fishy or oily taste present. Leave skin on and it tastes terrible.

Saturday caught 4 , three knock offs.140 ft off the plant 100 down. All kings here's the biggest 31 lbs all riggers hammer glow w Mountain Dew pro kings. They call it something else but the same color. Also green pro troll glow/silver.

This person was near me I was heading north, he was to my starboard side about two hundred yards away a little forward. He hooks up starts turning my way and is yelling and waiving his arms for me to move and yelling ,couldn't hear him. I waved at him and continued north. He is differently a fly by night, captains license, he payed for it and missed out on the people person section, and what makes him a professional? The PV boat he bought? He will run into the right person on shore someday.

Fished from 4-8 south dune area caught one 25lbs, hammer fly green glo pro troll 100 down over 130, had temp at 100 to bottom. Didn't see many fish on the screen but a lot of bait pods here and there didn't go any deeper than 140.

I read this morning for Mexico waves in shore for the afternoon 2-3 building to 4-6 know for tomorrow night under 2 what's up, is there any better weather reports to look at. I'll be going up tomorrow.
