  1. Id Say Naples. Since you posted the creeks have been way to high to fish.
  2. Nice Job Glad to see all is going well with the boat. Sean
  3. I dont have a thru hull so I have no problem with the balls
  4. I dont know how control king works, but with mu troll master the small servo motor always has power going to it. So when you put these things in put a power shut off in. I had a servo motor go wacky and it started running when boat was parked in garage. They don't draw much power but I still dont want something running when my boat is not on water. Sean
  5. I can mark bait at 30 to 35mph not fish but pods of bait show up and depth is no problem it always reads that. I just have the transducer that came with the unit. I bet it would be better with an airmar.
  6. Sean I been wanting to wire my boat that way for some time now. I been disconnecting my batterys when not in use but I can be a little cheap some times Where did you get your breakers if you don't mind me asking? West marine for the blue seas fuse box they have two sizes. I put three of the 8 bank boxes in. I got the 100 amp inline breakers from Auto Zone or advanced auto. They have a push button shut off. works great for killing power to fuse box. Saves on all the crap at the battery. Sean
  7. Just a quick question. If I am entered can fish with who ever on the boat or do team mates have to fish together? Just checking to see if I can fish this with clients on the boat. I dont want any one upset when I am running 12 rods. Sean Sounds like a fun time if I can find a team that will take me. Sean
  8. Is the Five fish per man or per two man team? And is it one man limit of five or just five biggest (all lakers)? So if I cant fish my team mate can weigh in five?
  9. Great fish Never know what you will get on that core
  10. Love my HDS -10 I added the structure scan this year and that realy helps to show what is under the boat. Sean
  11. I run the power for every thing threw a 100amp braker then to a blue seas fuse box that might help or you might just end up kicking the braker off. I have three of them set up on the boat. I like that set up that way I can turn the power off to all my electronics and riggers when the boat is layed up.
  12. Great Report, At least you got a boat that works. Ha Ha Keep Her running we might need it at wilson
  13. Nice Job, Is your radio hooked to your batt or a fuse box, for its power supply?
  14. Sounds Good will call for slip. I hope we get to fish it, blew a new Yamaha Motor this week whaiting for Yamaha to decide to fix it or replace it. Just my luck send out tournament money then blow motor . Should have time to get it fixed I hope. Sean

  19. Thats great stuff How big are some of those eyes? Thanks for the Pics.
  20. That is a nice fish I figured you were up North. I was headed that way when my motor went so back to the ramp with the kicker I went. Sounds like it was some hard fishing today. The water was only 37 in most of the Lake. Sean
  21. Hi Folks. Went to Canandaigua today to fish the FLTA tournament. While traveling up the Lake my Yamaha F-200 four stroke went. Something loud started knocking and banging and motor lost power. I shut it down and made my way all the way back down the Lake with the kicker. I need to know where a good Yamah Outboard service dealer is. The motor is still under warranty it only has 100 hours on it in 3 years. This motor has had zero hard use and gets more maint than is needed I posted this on the Finger Lakes forum since most of you guys know where im located. This sucks I had trips booked for the mornings this week. Thanks Sean
  22. You can launch in Watkins at Clute Park off of 4th st (st-414). Drive boat North out of Cannal towards the salt plant on the West side of lake. Pound the west side of the lake from just South of salt plant North. Lite floro leaders on your riggers, core, copper, divers what ever you got from 5ft down to 80 out over 90 to 200+. Run spoons and cranks. Then show us all the pics of the salmon you catch. Sean
  23. BOE Marine will have one at your door in two days.
  24. I run them on every thing but dipseys model BWD 1101 9ft and some 8.6, riggers, copper, and core works for all of them. I have around thirty of them and havent broke one yet. Sean
  25. Most of the clients I have don't take fish home. So if we have a few we can't let go I have guys that are more than grateful to take them off my hands. The majority of folks I take are in town to visit the wineries or stay at a nice place on the lake. They don't have the means to take fish home or keep it cold for a week. But I could see were you would think we are keeping more, the few guys I do get that keep fish those are the pics you see of the big pile of fish. I guarantee a lot more fish are killed by rec fisherman than guides just do to the fact, the fingers do not have that many guides. Sean
