  1. you can do your trailer registration online you just need your license plate #. Its legal right away. it comes in the mail a week later
  2. I launched at Black north side, I think the gate is probably still closed at Archibald. There was another truck./ trailer next to mine when we came in, im not sure how they launch, but heres how I do it.. I use the upstream ramp because there's less debris. Basically you get wet up to your knees/waist. I take it off the trailer then walk it to the rocks on the edge of the north ramp. The water drops straight off there. You can hop in and shove off with a push pole (net handle)or just push off with your foot when you hop in, then tilt the motor when your into the channel. I have a 17.5' aluminum but we have done the same thing with the 20' fiberglass in the past. Its just as easy at golden hill bit im not sure if the ice is out there yet.
  3. Today I took my daughter and her boyfriend for a few hours at the oak. The docks are not in yet but its pretty easy with waders to get out. We went west , found 40 degree water, and managed a few browns in one pass. Fish came on a J-11 Gold/Black and 14A mother of pearl. I cant figure out the picture thing anymore.... I think I'm getting old.
  4. Check Out Top Gun Construction. Best price I found and the barn is top notch.
  5. Add carbon 14 to the list for me. The only thing I caught was my hand. I've drug it around so much the paint is gonna wear off. The other crappy lure was billy baroo. it's all hype, there are a ton of better stickbait choices.
  6. We went back out this past Sunday and picked up nine walleyes and a couple smallmouths, a couple Sheephead, a silver bass and a catfish. On warm harnesses in about 35 feet of water
  7. We caught ours in 25 feet of water on harnesses. We were trolling
  8. Went twice this weekend to SBH. Friday Night - Caught a rock bass, that's it. But we learned a lot about night fishing. Sunday morning we caught 5. Saw a nice Canvasback in the harbor both trips.
