  6. Raymarine has discontinued the steering wheel mounted ones. I have not been able to find another company that makes that style.   8. you could also pick up some used reels at a yard sale and load them up with you swr line, then just swap out the reels on the poles you already have
  9. hey sorry if i missed it, but a few quick questions.....how long is the boat, and whats the thrust on the trolling motor, and also is the trolling motor ipilot?

  11. I also have a Garmin. (551dv) and had a large rooster tail. I just quartered a black 1 quart oil bottle and mounted it so the bottom of the bottle is against the haul and the side of the bottle is over the transducer. No more rooster tail.   18. with the unfortunate closure of moor electronics, could anyone recommend any other speed and temp probe? i dont believe a fish hawk will work, my sonar runs on the same frequency, 77hz. thanks in advance for your input
  19. i have a 19 FT navigator but mine has an f115, i can get it to troll down to 2.0 mph on the gps with out a problem.... that being said, the last boat had was an 18 FT lowe with a 90hp 2-stroke, i had to use bags to get is to 2.5, and the motor was unhappy the whole time. hope this helps.

  21. had the same screen a few weeks ago out of sodus, tons of bait, and no bites, head out deeper, i was out between 500 and 600 fow and did 5 for 7 on cohos and kings, pink and white was the color they liked yest.

  23. i bought a new fish finder this summer and im afraid i dont know how to read it, this picture looks like a fish coming up to look at my rigger ball, this happened twice this year... am i reading this correctly?
