    I don't have hydraulic steering so I have the Raymarine unit where the motor sits under the steering wheel . When I was installing it, I needed a surface mount on my boat and they sent me one at no charge, and when I was setting it up I had one of the guys in the service Dpt. on the phone with me walking me thru it while I was on the lake. I'm very happy with it.

    I remember seeing a camping trailer on the Sacandaga when I had a camp there all winter. The next time I went by the thaw came and it started losing shore. I went back the next week it was sitting on an ice cube, and I knew it wasn't going home with anyone. The week after it was gone, I'm assuming it's still sitting there.

    I have a small countertop Bradley, and I love it. Nothing like having the machine do the work for you with the pucks. Set the amount of time to smoke or the time and temp to cook, or do both at the same time. I mostly cold smoke and it works great.

    I just read another post about crossing the border with a boat, but I've never seen an answer to my question, so here goes. If I'm heading straight out from Oswego Harbor at about what water depth does the line cross? Last year I started heading deeper to fish, and really did pretty well out to 500' but I hadn't a clue how close I was to the Canadian line. Thanks to all.

    I have the Control King on my Honda 9.9 and the only thing that went on it after 5 years was the drive motor. Luckily you can get a new one from a hobby shop for about 8 bucks.

    I use a Hummingbird Ice 55. If you fish shallow water this is the flasher to go with. The drawback is while it fits in a bucket, it's a little heavy with the battery, like all top of the line flashers. I bought it in Cabela's bargain bin at $150 cheaper than they had the same one on the floor, so I'm not complaining.

    Used Fish Hawk X4 with new in sealed packages wiring and Triducer. I bought the X4D package and am using my old cables for the upgrade. Last chance to get it at $450. It's going to Flea Bay next.

    I've had my A5 since I was old enough to buy a gun. Even though it says Light 12 on mine, the only drawback is that it's so heavy, especially when loaded.

    Sounds like it's starving for fuel. Check the fuel pump pressure, or just replace the pump. Chevy pumps are cheap and easy to replace.

    On my boat I put a 2x4 block between the motor and the point where it locks with the 2" side against the motor. It keeps the motor at a shallow angle, off the road and costs about 30 cents. I don't have a problem with my kicker and it sits in the down position.

    Call Raymarine. The guys that repair these things are the best. I thought I had a problem with mine and they worked with me on the phone while I was out on the lake trolling. I also sent my computer back to them last winter and they upgraded it for free.
