  1. There's one in Oswego. I forget his name. He's across from the dog pound.
  2. lf you want something to fish for that is rare, the Flint River in Ga is, (from what I’ve heard from a Game Warden) one of very few places that you can catch Shoal Bass. I understand that they fight as hard as a salmon. Boat launches for smaller boats are available all over where the Flint crosses major roadways.
  3. I can attest to this post as I moved to middle Georgia last year and the hunting and fishing is fantastic. The south is an unknown opportunity for sportsman. Another great lake to fish for bass is Lake Eufaula, known as the bass capital of the world.
  4. I agree with John 1947's post. That's exactly how I do it, and never had one break off. I also don't use wire, only Blood Run Tackle sea flea.
  5. Thanks Bob. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
  6. 22-26' Boat needed for next season trolling Lake Ontario. I prefer a single outboard (w/ or wo/ a kicker), but a nice fishing deck without a doghouse, and a cabin is what I'm looking for. Don't wait till spring to sell. I have cash in hand for the right boat. Pics can be sent to [email protected] or text to 203-233-4936
  7. Thanks to all. I'll have one done.
  8. I'm looking at a really clean Carolina Classic and I asked about a survey and the owner told me that it had one 2 years ago for insurance. The boat actually sits in a boathouse and you can eat off the motor. So, should I trust the 2 year old survey, or have a new one done for myself?

OK, so here is what I read. There's a bit more than buying a pair of pants. http://www.ybaa.com/aws/YBAA/pt/sd/news_article/81689/_PARENT/layout_details/false

    Sold / Closed 2000 Parker 2110 Walkaround

Meeting isn't the problem. The paperwork and money exchange is. When I saw your post I looked into it and there's too much hassle for my taste. A Customs Broker would make it easier, but you never know who woke up on the wrong side of the bed at the border when you get there, and they can make it a bigger deal than it is.

I'd snatch this up if it wasn't in Canada
  12. Anyone know the results of Sunday's tournament?
  13. Yes it is. I'm sorry nobody has jumped on it before I leave for Oswego this morning. There's still some time. My cell 203-233-4936
  14. Yep, my mistake, it is a 55. This will be the 5th season and a new battery was put in last season
  15. Ice will be here soon and I have a Hummingbird ICE 55, their top of the line flasher and a hardly used Shappell FX100 one man shelter. The shelter has a seat that lifts and a good sized storage underneath. It also has the ice runners on the bottom. $300 takes them both. I'll be at the ATOMIK this weekend and could bring them up.
  16. I don't think so. Mine is out in the sun all day and I had the doors closed, so the heat is what caused the welds to give. It's plenty strong, the weight of the snow didn't budge it, but we don't get lake effect around here.
  17. I forgot to mention that once or twice a year they have a clearance sale at the factory, and you can buy anything they make at a big discount. I'm pretty sure it's coming up soon, so if you're close enough to Ct. it may be worth it to wait. Give them a call and they'll tell you if and when it will be.
  18. I have had mine for quite a few years. I live just a few miles from Shelterlogic so I was able to buy it from them and pick it up. They replaced the cover on it once when the material welds around the door let go after 3 years, and 3 or 4 years later I had branches fall on the roof, but it was out of warranty by then.. I then just put metal roofing over the canvas roof, leaving the rest of it canvas, and it's been fine for the last 4 years. I did buy the snow rated shelter, which is I think 3" x 3" square pipes for the frame. I can't complain about the price, I think it was $900 or around there for a 25' shelter, and it's still standing so I don't think you could go wrong buying one, and they're customer service is top notch.
  19. Screwy Louie's is also a Scotty repair house
