    X3 on that. Also, some Ranger nets have a lifetime warranty. The last time a hoop broke on me I took a pic of the hoop and the receipt (I'm a pack rat when it comes to receipts) and emailed them and they had a replacement to me in a couple days no charge..

    I always drain my on board tank with an electric fuel pump, the kind they put on the old hot rods. connect the in line to the out line of the tank before the filter, tilt the boat up and you'll get it all out. I learned that lesson when I dropped $1200 to rebuild 4 carbs with your same problem, and the dealer did that, and also took out the fuel sender and got in the tank for the rest of it. I also used the additives every time I put gas in and can say positively they don't work. I've put in nothing but E-free gas since.

    I just did my Scotty's and the way they said to spool them is to take the wire off the spool the same direction that it goes on the rigger

    I also have that pilot and it works well, but there's a procedure to run when it's 1st installed, and it won't run right if it didn't run all the way thru. I forget what it's called but I do remember having a tech from Raymarine on the phone while I was running it thru. Don't be afraid to call and ask the techs' there to help you, they are really good and helpful.

    Make your own. They are easy to make. Get an assortment of meat heads, my favorite 2 are the clear UV and the white glow.

    In the Classifieds there's a guy that's selling fixed cheater snaps, and there's 150 posts to it. I've seen how to use a sliding cheater, but how exactly do you use the fixed cheaters?
