  2. I caught one small steelie in 200 fow on a moonshine agent orange. Still very very slow.
  3. I started in 200 fow tonight and trolled to 270 without a mark. Turned and trolled into 120 with the same results. Marked a couple of bait balls up high but no hooks anywhere near them. Surface temp never dropped below 66 and went as high as 72 in close. Good night to wash lures I guess. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Well I guess I had better pick up a LOC ticket cause it sounds like we're going to be party fishing - haha. I plan on hitting it for few hrs after work today if any of you guys want to go out pm me. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Hey John, I fish solo most of the time as well. I have a 19' blue fin set up and is very comfortable for 2-3 guys. She ain't pretty but I get the job done. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Great report, I had very few marks but two massive bait balls out in 220fow in front of Bear Creek. I took 3 small steelies in 4 hrs of fishing but it was a beautiful morning on the lake. I also started at 150 and went to 270 without moving a rod. Hit all 3 fish around a bait ball at 220 on a NE troll. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Thanks John, but it's just me and I fish solo most of time for a few hrs after work or whenever I can get out. Those are my grandson's in my photo and a just a tad underweight, but look out in a few yrs. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Fished 6:30 to 10:30 and went 3 for 4 all kings (4th one was at boat when I lost it). 3 on moonshine Flys with blue sparkle flasher. Ratchet jaw was the only spoon that hooked. 80-85 fow down 40-50. Tons of bait and had a mess of gulls feeding when I first went out. Real nice morning. Seems like the floating junk is thinning out. Best was 22lbs and wound the line around his tail which made an interesting battle solo Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Went out this afternoon out of bear creek for a few hours, dead flat calm with loads of debris floating and suspended. The kicker was about a 6' section of dock with a pail attached out in 60 fow. Very few marks and tough to keep the lines clear. Skunked for the first time this season. 50 degree surface temp out to 80 fow. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Awesome customer service, order my wire rig on Saturday and received in on Tuesday. All rigged and ready to go, thanks for the speed. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Spoke to them today, and if they can get the slab on the east side of the dock reset we'll be in business. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Just received my torpedo weights in the mail, less than a week after I mailed the check. Awesome quality and even better service. Thank you. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Landed over 30 and lost way too many. Great day even with the wind. Caught everything except a king. Many cookie cutter browns, several over 10lbs, steelies with one monster, atlantics, and lakers. All released to fight again. Stick baits with "hot steel" the best. 6-10' fow, from launch to power plant. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Just sent you a check for 2 - 12lb weights. Thanks for this offer. Paul
  15. We fished out of Bear Creek in front of power plant over the weekend and fishing was awesome! I did see gobies in different stages of digestion. Also, all of the fish we caught and released were chewed up terribly by eels. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. One more vote for Paul. He has done deer heads for myself and a couple of buddies. Outstanding work that is show worthy. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  18. Flew over the lake at about 5pm yesterday and there was ice as far as you could see! Passenger next to me said that there were white caps and I mentioned that they were not moving! He agreed after a few seconds that they were snow spots on the ice. Small patch of open water by the bluff's Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. Are the riggers still available? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. It has been very different since the town hired someone to check permits. I haven't had a problem this year or last other than one guy who couldn't back up a trailer, but everyone has to start somewhere. Last week Sunday the towm employee cranked my boat onto my trailer for me. Early mornings are the best.
  22. I am selling my old (good little) boat since I bought a new to me bigger boat. It is a , 84- 16' Mark Twain closed bow with 40hp Evinrude and 6hp evinrude kicker, 2 walker electric down riggers, bimini top, hummingbird 718, radio, great trailer, new battery, saftey eguipment including life preservers.Everything you need for trolling Ontario or finger lakes. Everything works great, just bought a bigger boat. $2200/BO
  23. I have a 96, 9.9 evinrude, electric start that fowls the plugs regardless of rpm's or speed. Thought it was just at slow troll speeds, so I put a trolling plate on made for motors 25hp or less. The plugs fowled even worse after 4 hrs of trolling. Any help would be be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul
