  1. Jim Dence's "All Season Sports" located right next to the new Byrne Dairy, at the end of the exit ramp off 81, in Pulaski. 2000 sq ft new addition, and I believe he has a grand opening sale going on right now. Another tackle shop, in Port Ontario, is Port Ontario Bait & Tackle, across from the Mobil Mini Mart, on Rt 3. Those places are where I do business. Scott
  2. Built mine from 1 1/2 and 2" 6061 1/8" wall tubing I purchased from Pacemaker-Millar, Utica. 8 rod holder launcher, 4 bird trees, 2 net holders, Big Jon pulley mounts, and front/rear facing lights/mounts. If you folks make these yourselves, machine a drain hole/notch in each. Total cost, 240.00. Scott
  3. Pulled # 5-7 Rapalas in 38 fow last Saturday. 34-35 down, 15 ft off the ball. 1.8-2.0 mph. Also ran Rapala "trolls to" off the big boards. Found 'em, and ended up with our limit. Pretty much last of Oneida for the year, as we now migrate up to Lake Ontario. Fish primarily in/around the Mexico Bay/ Sandy Pond area. Fish Hunter II is out of the barn,(22 ft Starcaft Islander) and ready to be fitted with my rocket launcher/bird tree/net holder system, I manufactured. Pretty damn nice if I do say so. Need more room, for more rods. Scott
  4. Upper Saranac has some HUGE smallmouths. Texas, or Carolina rigs, off the edge of weedbeds has been what we have used in the past. Scott
  5. The jig fisherman I know, use hand-made ones with green prism tape, and #4 hooks. One caught a 28"er this past week. Scott
  6. 34-38 fow. .09-1.2 mph GPS. Seems that the floats were very beneficial, as we started out with one rigged that way, and that was the one that was getting the bites, so all were pulled and adjusted and went from there. Smelly-Jelly Walleye Feast, DOES make a difference. We were pulling boards, and two rods off the side too. They crawler harness bite, out deep, will continue to be good for about 4, 6-7 weeks from what I've seen over the years.
  7. The crawler harness/bouncer bite is on now. Silver w/chatruese/red beads. Holograhic perch patterns, as well, both with 1" floats, seemed to be the ticket for us this weekend. Good perch are coming to those too.
  8. Try catching them on an 8' crappie rod, and 6 lb line. FEELS like a big King!!!!!!!! Guaranteed!!!!!!!!!
  9. Headed to the little "O" this weekend. Scott
  10. Was on Deruyter Lake yesterday, harnesses/bouncers. 5 keepers, biggest at 19". They surely liked one particular area. Back to Oneida next weekend. Scott
  11. Hot Steel?? Brown Trout??
  12. Same set-up you used on Deruyter??
  13. These should be felony charges that are pending. Is the judge related to these a$$wipes????????? WTF, over. The next time I do some river fishing I'll have a check list: Rod Reel Boots Lures Taurus .45 ACP If the victim had carried, there may have been 2 bums, that would've been worm castles.
  14. Not saying there are not fish all over the lake, but the East end is primarily where I fish. Did grab some in front of the marina, on the drop-off, in Lakeport, Sunday.
  15. The fish are scattered across the Eastern Basin in the usual fish holding areas. They are coming on Sonars, hair jigs, and bouncers/harnesses as well. Concentrated boats/traffic seems to shut them down, so looking for a congregation of fisherman gathered togather, may not be what you want to do. Looks like a good upcoming weekend to get out and enjoy some catching, and eating.
  16. .................or pen-reared/kept fish.
  17. I'm looking for a couple of those Frozen Frogs. How much shipped to 13409??
  18. I use a Cannon Speed/Temp unit. Works like a champ.
