Went out today and picked up a package of G5 Strikers cause thats just what the store had in stock. Flew straight as an arrow (pun intended). Was able to get a decent group at 30 yards with no bow tuning. Thanks for all the help and advice. Good luck everyone with the remainder of the season. 'Bout Time Mike

i just recently switched from Rage 2 blades to G5 Montec fixed blades. With the Rage my arrows flew pretty damn straight (really close to field tips). the G5s have caused my arrow to have a corkscrew (spiral) flight pattern. they are the same weight - 100g and im using the same arrow shafts. i have aligned the blades to match my fletchings. i am shooting a Hoyt 28.5" draw @ 65 lbs. Arrows are Carbon Express 400g @ 30" with Quick Spin fletchings. My groups arent terrible 2-3" @ 20 yds but not as good as the expandables. I would like to get away from expandables and use the fixed blades Any help would be appreciated.

The tension is factory set to 20lbs. Depending on boat size and weight you may need to adjust it to work properly. I run a 25' trophy at at almost 5000 lbs I had to tighten the set screw slightly for it to work. Just use 1/4 turns and check after adjustment 'Bout Time Mike

Did anyone check compression in all the cylinders? Possibly have a bad cylinder? Just a guess.

Sounds like they have the polarities reversed on the speed wheel.

Fishings been slow but steady. I've concentrated on staying on the inside (110-200). Fish are there hugging bottom. Echips with 32" plus fly/meat lengths streched 35+ behind the riggers have taken a majority share. Dipseys out 320-350 and 600 copper working. Mix of Kings and Coho. Some nice quality fish (Coho 18, and 19.5 lb) and Kings 25+. White paddles and hammer fly early and green silver Spin Dr with Pro Am fly later on.

Saturday i fished the fair haven challenge and worked outside waters 450-600. Had 6 bites with 5 keepers. Mix of Kings, Steel and a brown. Sunday morning only had short window to fish so I stayed inside. Worked 130-200, went 4 for 5 before calling it. Nice class of fish with 15, 16, 19, and a 27.03 which we weighed on the LOC. Best setup both days was Green/Grey E chip with green glow Meat head off dipsey out 290-310. Also 450 copper with 11" Green paddle and meat took a good.number of shots. Fish are spread from 80-600, in and out of temp, bright silver and dark ready to run the river. It's that time of year...... 'Bout Time Mike
