  1. There were some silvers (kings) taken today out of FH. Not big numbers but some credible reports and I personally saw a couple of them
  2. I would look at your prop if the bags are working enough for you. My father has a 19.5' with a 3.0 liter and we had to change the pitch of the prop to achieve the speeds he wanted
  3. What size is your main engine? With (2) 36" bags on a 20 foot boat you should be able to get down to 1.2 or so. You can also adjust the pitch of your prop to help slow down as well
  4. What is the speed you are trying to achieve?
  5. I do know that guys fish for them just on the inside of the channel by the buoys. I have a camp on blind Sodus and it was stocked a couple years ago but haven't seen any activity in the past 2 years. Seen very few caught out of the bay last two seasons.
  6. No it will not hurt the motor as rigger motors are designed to go both directions
  7. Black, black or black for me.
  8. I fish fair haven and use a combination of the weather buoy data from Rochester, the sail flow app which gives wind speed and direction, as well as the Sodus bay lighthouse camera. I hear there's also a new camera in Oswego this year as well.
  9. I love mine. Very easy to use, infinite adjustments, and solid. I have used Berts and Traxtech without issues but the adjustability and ease of use make these my rod holder of choice
  10. During normal season I run 13 and 15 pound torpedos and sharks. The best two weights out there IMO. Very minimal blowback and never had any Issues. I have tried them all, round cannonball, pancakes, etc. like Gecko said above during shoreline water brown season I use small 6 and 8 pound weights
  11. PMs returned and post updated Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Just heard back from mechanic. It turned out that my starter had at one point gotten water in it and was rusted. They needed to remove the floor panels in order gain enough access for the arms to change the starter out without pulling the motor. I also had them replace all ground and power wires while they were in there. Back in action. Thanks for all those who gave ideas to help

  14. I've traced and checked everything I could reach. Nothing noticeable that made any difference. I'm out of town for next 2 weeks so I bit the bullet and dropped it off this morning to have it looked at Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Was up this morning working on the net pens and the blow last night and wind today has pushed muddy water back in. It should really make things pick up
  16. Battery one is one year old and battery 2 is one week old. I always store Batteries inside during winter and trickle charge there periodically to keep them fresh Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Have 5.7 mercruiser that won't start/turnover. Background: Ran great last year and winterized early in the fall. Today I pulled the lower unit replaced the bellows. " click click click, the tuned over VERY SLOW for 3 seconds back to click click click" Battery two 13.0 volts same outcome as above Hooked up jumper cables from my truck to battery. Reading 14 +\- volts. Click click click very slow turn over 2 seconds click click click Thinking starter ? Anyone experience this before ?
  18. This is a decent link to some chargers. http://www.carbatterychargerscentral.com/solar-panel-battery-charger-top-5/ One question I have is does anyone use one solar charger to charge both batteries? I have a auto bilge that runs off one battery and normally turn the other battery off. Thinking of leaving both batteries on and connecting charger to charge both
  19. I texted him last week and received no reply
