  1. Scoreboard is complete. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Brand new. This is the new design. Came with a new Mag 10 I bought but I already had a Berts base. Asking $60 picked up in Syracuse or can ship
  3. That is his "fishing outfit" he wears it whether deep sea fishing in the ocean or out here with me. He definitely gets his use out of it
  4. Had a solid morning out of Fair Haven. Ended 6 for 7 with 5 kings and a lake trout. Best water was 150-200. Riggers at 116, dipsy out 340 and 450 copper. 5 fish came on echip and flies and took two off meat. Usual white/green combinations.
  5. Use a sabiki rig. Have to cut one hook off so it's legal, can only have 5 hooks. Not too many left now. Usually first three weeks of June they are there. Most have moved back out to the lake now Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Solid reports from Fair Haven to Oswego. Alot of 3 year Olds being caught. No details on depths yet Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. No snubbers. Make sure your drags are set just tight enough to keep lune creeping out. One tip is The line shouldncreep slowly on a turn, you can use a rubber band to keep it in place Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. We fish for them in the bays Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Best bait there is and fun too especially on blow off days
  10. If anyone has any issues with the rules then don't fish the tourney, but don't bash the guy that plays by the rules and suceeds. At then end of the day I would rather have competed against the best and be proud of my placement vs competing against the lesser just to win. Congrats Tony on a great season !!!! 11. Talked to the guys from the Sodus pro am yesterday and they had 64 on top and 44 down 35 all the way from 120-250 FOW. I hope the west wind doesn't push that to us
  12. I fished east one day and then west the next. The key for me was to stay outside of boat traffic and find understurbed fish Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. Fishing was steady. Had to chase the temps each day but the fish were there. Best water was from 110-160 for me. Temp down 50-70 depending on what pocket you hit. Green spinny green fly took majority of fish for me. Riggers at 70 80 90 all took fish as well as dipsys 240-280. Mix of lake trout and some decent kings just over 20lbs with the largest going 24.
  15. I have used the 14 lb with good sucess down to 100 FOW. I have ran them next to torpedo and Sharks and they run very similar. Little blowback and track straight Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Great job. What was the meat rig you were using? Color? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I fished Thursday July 9th out of FH. Set up in 100 and pushed out to 300. Did a small king 8 lbs and a Laker in 180 fow. No bait or marks on screen. Pushed back in to 150-100 range started seeing some decent marks and streakers. Doubled up on 103 rigger with glow green spoon and 310 dipsey with green flasher green fly in 138 feet. Decent 14 lb king and 12 lb Laker. Everyone I talked to said most action was 120-170 fow Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. 3 to 1 is not enough anchor line. General rule is 7 to 1 on calm seas and 10 to 1 for medium seas. I'll be the first to say it can be done with less but 3 to 1 is a little low
  19. Just saw on the news tonight that now they have propane outboards. It said a 9.9 hp will run 6-8 hours wide open on a 20 lb tank. They come with their own battery located under the cowl and charges when it runs. It looked good but couldn't imagine having to start carrying propane tanks for fuel

  21. for almost any cut bait head you will need some adjustments. Always deploy in the water next the boat and watch for the roll. Make small bends as necessary to achieve the roll your looking for. Once dialed in send it down
  22. I hear ya. You should see the looks on my crews faces when i put the 450 on one side then the 600 on the other. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. 450 copper has been hot lately for us. Haven't broke out the 600 yet
  24. You can use a cure to help firm them up. I use non iodized salt and it holds up well. I like the salt because I can freeze them with the salt and it doesn't make that much mess on the boat. Just a wet rag to wipe your hands
