    As long as your bracket is secured properly there are no problems trailering. I trailer mine from Syracuse to Oswego - 30 miles each way and Syracuse to Fairhaven - 40 miles each way consistently with no ssues.     one option to tune your bait heads is to use hot water. Take one of heads that has a good roll/bend to it already and use that as a template. I microwave water for about 2 minutes and it does the trick, After awhile you can eye ball them and getting them really close

    When adding weight to big boards do you add weight to outside board only, both outside and inside, front/ back etc. I added weight to mine years back and just noticed I only did outside back in rear 6 " or so.     I personally prefer spinning gear over baitcasters. It all comes down to personal choice. For me the spinning gear has a smoother drag and you don't need to adjust the clutch every time you switch to different baits.     i have always used black weights, last year i won a chrome shark and i lightly spray painted half of it blue. i ran this side by side with my black torpedo and it took its share of fish. i cannot say it out-performed the black weight but it also did not under-perform against the black. just my ecperience.....

    After a long wait I was suprised last night by my parents and my wife by receiving my mount from the 2013 season for Christmas this year. It helped heal the wounds from a mediocre season this year

    I have the Marlin 336cs chambered in the Remington 30-30. Mark is dead on with the side ejection port as i scoped mine. I love this gun. its a fun gun to shoot, easy to carry, will handle targets as well as deer too without problems.
