  1. not crazy but unexpected. Late July trolling off FH in 8-12 FOW for bass with my parents and caught this guy. Super fun on Ultra light Spin Tackle
  2. NEW PRICE ............
  3. Your planer line will definitely interfere with your rods, especially on turns and waves. One of the best options is to move (or install) a second pulley as far forward as possible, even all the way to the bow. Attached are two pictures of my setup. Ive changed from the bow pulley to the one on the hardtop for ease of use and both work great
  4. Older model cannon low profile swivel base. Bought used as a spare and never used it. $35- includes shipping to lower 48 ‘Bout Time Mike
  5. (2) Diawa Great Lakes Sealine 47 LC One has approximately 800-900’ of 1x7 wire Other one is empty Both reels have upgraded Power Handles and upgraded drags by Tuna Toms. These have been sitting in my cuddy as spares and have not been used much at all. Always stored inside boat and in the house during the winter since I’ve owned them. $100 - includes shipping to lower 48. PayPal as F/F Check or Money Order
  6. Ive used them before with no problems and liked how easy it was for removal. The only thing i did to mine was add some electrical tape around the shaft because mine were a tad loose in the rod holder.
  7. I use the rapala sharpeners. Carry one on the boat and also have one in my hunting bag. Small and affordable and work great ‘Bout Time Mike
  8. X 2. Quite an easy fix. As far as “cosmetics” go, you can buy matching paint at any dealer or online and save yourself some $$$ ‘Bout Time Mike

  11. Honestly a boat that size with that motor is underpowered. I have a 25’ trophy hardtop with a 5.7 and had similar issues. I ended up dropping the prop 1” in pitch and going to a 4 blade. It helped but still dogs at times. Another issue is the placement of the fuel tank. Instead of being true “midship” they are more towards the rear 2/3 of the vessel. It just adds extra weight to the stern along with regular motor, trolling motor, riggers etc. If I carry anymore than 60 gallons of gas at a time I have a hard time getting on plane. 12. Team Bout Time is in. Looking forward to another great event. You did an excellent job with this last year Jay
  13. i have mine spaced 6-8" apart. You just need enough room so when you ratchet them up the handle doesnt hit the other reel. i have 3 in about 18-20"
  14. I was sitting in the bowl of a deep ravine this year at my newly acquired property in 7R, when out of nowhere I hear crashing, see leaves flying and sticks breaking. All I saw was a huge black fur object come flying down the ravine 30 yards from me. I almost fell out of my stand thinking it was a black bear charging. When it hit the bottom of the ravine they broke apart. It was 2 big males fighting and they got tangled up on the top and rolled all the way to the bottom. Had to clean my shorts after that one. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. Congrats to everyone that has connected. I have 3 sits left for the season then I have to hang it up. (Work and family obligations). I am lucky enough to have a full freezer but yet still feel like it’s been a so/so season. A have let a lot of racks go early and haven’t seen one since the gun opener. I have hunted every morning and night that I could and the weather allowed. I have hunted close to home, 45 miles north, and 95 miles south, 3 different counties. This thread at times has kept me sane and very much entertained. I’m with the guys on the low side of seeing deer - normal sit im lucky to see 1-4, and many times 0, but it doesn’t deter my drive. Best of luck to all those still out shoot straight and have a great Holiday Season and a Merry Christmas Maybe I’ll have one more post in me if I can connect ....
