I bought it in the spring to fish while I was replacing the transom in my big boat, worked good with my 9.9 kicker on it. Has a small leak from somewhere but it only lets a cup or so of water in on a fishing trip. Pm me with reasonable offers I have registrations for boat and trailer and trailer is roadworthy
I was leaving when you were pulling in, you should've asked about the fishing because we found one small area full of big fish that was producing a few fish every pass
I just built a beefy dog house on mine and hop up on it to fight the fish you're going to miss that rail height on rough days and I bet your boat will roll a lot more
I did the transom in my islander I/o this winter for probably 5-600$ it was a lot of work but I know exactly what I have and other than a lot of time it really wasn't that difficult
It's hard enough on a newbie getting started without spending a small fortune on top of the line rods, I use the 8'6 okuma glt rigger rods and 10' glt diver rods
Does anyone ever try salmon fishing this time of year around Rochester? I'm willing to launch anywhere from oak orchard to irondequoit bay. If not I was thinking of going for lake trout. Any pointers would be great
