Sounds like a load issue. Barrels do not put the LOAD on the engine like once in the lake. Might be a simple carb gasket or even a fuel line air leak. I had the same issue on my yamaha this year. The line was sucking air at my primer bulb. However my carb is sucking air as well... Nick

Good report! I was going to go out today but went to work on my truck yesterday and wouldnt yak now it, the sprak plugs broke in the head so I am working on that all day today...

The clarions are currently no longer in production. I guess they are re-designing the reel to make it even better? I hope they work on the drag system as it was very sketchy..

Isent down my gopro yesterday for the first time to get under water shots. Its an eary feeling but the result is cool. My battery died shortly after sending down but I did see some fish and the also, I can pick up audio and the rigger "HUUMMMMM" is insane.. Nick

Glen are you putting them together browns? I run just Tue okuma mages pros 45 with braid backing on a ugly stick medium action rod. I even pull inline church boards with them. Work great. I imagine the convector would be a step nicer but magdas are good for their price.. I even have a daiwa 47 with one setup... Nick [ Post made via Android ]

Had today off, thanks to Our Veterans and all that they do. I decided to take a break from some stream fishing and get out the Grady for the day. We launched at daylight in Watkins and fished the southern end. Hit fish on all tactics. dipsys triggered the bigger fish today while riggers and boards produced the smaller guys. We hit some nice spunky fish today. The lakers are full of power today!! Bellies are ready for a feed! MS spooons,DW super slims, white/green dot SD with atommik white halo flies did some dammage. Managed a 10.5 lb laker on the spring scale. Picture below, we tossed him back, full of spunk he took right off. Kept a couple eaters for the grill. Did a great double digit day and had a ton of fun doing it. The boat fishes nice. If anyone is interested in the boat. Please contact me as I am selling due to saving up for a house. We will be back out on the water soon. Nick
