  1. Can't get the program.... not on great lakes angler.... Think you can get it on here?
  2. Wonder how much trouble we would get in if we strung a bunch of boats across the lock entrance as a protest.... They do it on foot why not in a boat? I have a few scrap boats that wouldn't matter if someone tried to run em over! Just got to tow em out!
  3. I'll be picking up a speed n temp unit here in the next couple weeks as well. From what I have seen on lou, they all seem to work pretty well. Everyone loves the one they have (besides the 840 ). I think I will probably be going with the sub troll as that is what a friend has. Also, I think I would be more apt to go with a coated cable. Yes it is not as convenient but I believe more reliable than signal. I was an electronics aviation specialist in the military. When you are sending a signal wirelessly, there is always the chance of running into interference in any of a million ways. I would feel more comfortable if that signal was just from the transom to the cabin than through 100' of water. Just a personal preference. Plus I have more than enough riggers for my use so I can run one just for the unit and probably save some wear n tear on the cable.

  16. Looking to pick up a kicker after February 26th.... 9.9 high thrust preferably but since I'm doing fingerlakes anything from 9.9-15 would probably work fine.... at or under $1000.... Anyone spots anything let me know. Been cruising ebay and craigslist quite a bit but haven't spotted much of anything.

  22. Just a quick question I had..... What makes a kicker "high thrust"? Is it just the prop? I thought I heard once that that it's a 9.9 powerhead with a 15 lower end.....
