  2. Spent a few hours in the harbor yesterday also- no action and nothing on the graph. Back into the river and went 3 for 4, biggest was just over 40". Man it was a nice day to be out on the water Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. I believe the early opener is for inland waters only- since they are supported by stocking and there is little to no natural reproduction. Maybe someone else will chime in that is more familiar with the proposals. Agreed that great lakes waters should remain 3rd sat in june to protect spawning fish- looks like the plan is to keep the season on great lakes the same Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. Nice- I believe the black spots are flukes (parasites) in their larval or cyst form. I have seen these quite a bit on smallmouths in the past. I think the flukes can only reach adulthood if the infected fish is consumed by a bird....but don't quote me on that. I am no biologist, just a fish nerd
  12. I have an Eagle Fishmark 320 i was gonna throw up on the classifieds. Suction cup transducer and takes either 8 D batteries or the small 12 volt alarm type batteries. Pm me if interested Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  16. Same as nitro and muskiedreams. I run drags as light as possible. they sometimes creep out when bouncing in waves.. Then i tighten them just a hair. Also run 80lb braid for trolling esox... Although i doubt that line diameter is a factor with your issue Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. Am/fm. There is a fuse at the radio and 2 in the fuse panel. They are good. Logic tells me that since i ripped out the ignition switch and rewired a new one, that it should be something to do with the switch. Kinda baffles me since everything else works. Haven't been able to mess with it today but will fart around with it this week. Thanks for the suggestions guys Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Replaced the switch and that seemed to have done the trick. I cracked open the old switch and there was quite a bit of moisture in there so i believe that was the cause. However now my radio does not work. Everything else is working (bilge, sonar, livewell pumps, nav lights). I checked all the fuses and they are good. What am i missing? Drivin me nuts..... 24. Thanks. I am thinking the same think (hoping). Going to replace the ignition switch today and see whats what Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  25. Hi all. Seems as if my merc 115 4 stroke has a gremlin. I used the engine all week and it ran great- just yesterday morning i was idling and letting the engine warm up- the starter engaged and tried to start the engine randomly. I shut it off and restarted, and all was well. Later on in the day the engine was off (but ignition was in "on" position since radio was on) and the engine started itself without me turning the key. It now seems to randomly start itself whenever the key is in and ignition is turned to "on". This does not happen when the ignition is off or if the motor is on and in gear. Battery disconnected for now but hoping this could be as simple as a bad ignition switch? Would welcome any opinions... Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
