  1. Nice- I believe the black spots are flukes (parasites) in their larval or cyst form. I have seen these quite a bit on smallmouths in the past. I think the flukes can only reach adulthood if the infected fish is consumed by a bird....but don't quote me on that. I am no biologist, just a fish nerd
  2. I have an Eagle Fishmark 320 i was gonna throw up on the classifieds. Suction cup transducer and takes either 8 D batteries or the small 12 volt alarm type batteries. Pm me if interested Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  6. Same as nitro and muskiedreams. I run drags as light as possible. they sometimes creep out when bouncing in waves.. Then i tighten them just a hair. Also run 80lb braid for trolling esox... Although i doubt that line diameter is a factor with your issue Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. Am/fm. There is a fuse at the radio and 2 in the fuse panel. They are good. Logic tells me that since i ripped out the ignition switch and rewired a new one, that it should be something to do with the switch. Kinda baffles me since everything else works. Haven't been able to mess with it today but will fart around with it this week. Thanks for the suggestions guys Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. Replaced the switch and that seemed to have done the trick. I cracked open the old switch and there was quite a bit of moisture in there so i believe that was the cause. However now my radio does not work. Everything else is working (bilge, sonar, livewell pumps, nav lights). I checked all the fuses and they are good. What am i missing? Drivin me nuts..... 13. Thanks. I am thinking the same think (hoping). Going to replace the ignition switch today and see whats what Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Hi all. Seems as if my merc 115 4 stroke has a gremlin. I used the engine all week and it ran great- just yesterday morning i was idling and letting the engine warm up- the starter engaged and tried to start the engine randomly. I shut it off and restarted, and all was well. Later on in the day the engine was off (but ignition was in "on" position since radio was on) and the engine started itself without me turning the key. It now seems to randomly start itself whenever the key is in and ignition is turned to "on". This does not happen when the ignition is off or if the motor is on and in gear. Battery disconnected for now but hoping this could be as simple as a bad ignition switch? Would welcome any opinions... Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Nice- thank you. I will post pics if i catch anything decent Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  17. OK guys- i am out here at great sacandaga lake lookin for pike. Have been here since sat and have had limited success with smallies/perch (family trip) but no toothies. I know they are not very abundant, and i am here the wrong time of year, but can anyone give any pointers? Brought some of my muskie baits, and have tried trolling and even live bait. Tough lake to figure out.... I am staying by the damn in Mayfield if that helps. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. Wow. I really need to get up to St. Clair one of these days. Thanks for sharing Ivan... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. That is no musky. My guess is a pike with irregular pattern or possibly some type of hybrid. Very cool looking fish though... Any more pics of it? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Wow! That is a beauty! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  23. I have the same issue and taking to dealer tomorrow. 2011 merc 4 stroke 115hp. Oil smells of gas... I troll quite a bit with it but I also change the oil myself 2x a season and just noticed this now. Good thing since i only have a month left of warranty. 24. ...and also thanks bsmaster for that link! I avoid bass tourneys like the plague and usually check all the individual club websites to see where/when they are. Nice to have most of them listed in one place
