    you can buy the auto stops for the big jons about $90 each either one you will like. both are awesome riggers! some retailors I think cabellas capt. pack include the auto stop.

    'bows were slim pickins it did happen but quite a bit of panfish, bass, and some pickerel.

    no use cleaning them up just give them to me they are shot!!! just kidding coke works good or cheap silver polish. usally let mine soak for a while in the coke then scrub them down with dawn dish soap

    there use to be access off the city pier at the end of rt. 332 use to fish there quite a bit in college about 12 or 15 years ago. may have changed. use to murder the smelt down there too when we hit it rite!!

    and you have to adjust your timing after installing it.

    john, I upgrades my ignition system last year from points to electronic it is very easy conversion takes less than an hour. mine was a merc 4 cycl. iron duke. I believe if you change the distributer like you are talking about you will need to tell whoever you order you kit from because it will be a different kit than stock. one other thing to note is you will likely have to buy a different coil to run the electronic ign. if I remember correctly it needed to have at least 3ohms of resitance.
