  1. No way. Presses can be had for under $100, same with powder measures/scales (or both in 1), calipers $50. Those are your big ticket items. The rest are dies and components, and that all depends on how many cartridges you want to load for. Initial cost is a bit, but can get it much cheaper than you think. Shoot me a message if you have any questions. Don't want your thread going too far sideways
  2. If you reload, or get into it, 20 Prac is the way to go. Similar to 204 and super easy to reload for. Neck down 223 case and done. Depending on bullet, can get anywhere from 3-4000fps with little/no pelt damage.
  3. This has taught me two things: 1) When prices are low and product is available (like 3 years ago), buy buy buy 2) The next rifle/cartridge(s) to purchase. Over the last two years, there always seemed to be two in stock when nothing else was 350 Legend and 6 Creed. Both will handle any game in the lower 48. That being said, best thing to do is be a regular at LGS, talk to the workers/owner and be consistent. Things are coming back quickly. I'm an hour west of you, but I'll keep a lookout for .204
  4. Port side walleye board with flag kit $20 Uniden ship to shore (no bracket or plug) $10 35 body baits $65 Shakespeer 30 series $20 NIB Lowrance LCX-16 FF/GPS, comes with everything as it would new, plus extra transducer $100

  6. A second for Chris's reel repair in cheektowaga. Dealt with him few times, good work and pretty quick. Sent from my SM-G965U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Airmar TM258 1kW transducer. Used for a few years on couple of boats, works awesome, but found that a thru hull works better on my current boat. Used with Furuno FVC-587, so will do bottom discrimination if your Furuno has it. HAS FURUNO 10pin CONNECTION. Not sure what needs to be done to get this switched to a different FF, but best bet is to contact Airmar. Comes with necessary hardware, (bracket and shims), I'll get pics up in the next few days as it could use a little cleaning. $500/offer. https://www.airmar.com/productdescription.html?id=6
  8. I don't know much information on it, but I believe there is some private pheasant hunting club with a range (up to 600 or 1k yards I believe). I think you need to make an appointment and pay, but from what I remember it was cheap, like $10/hr. Pheasants on the flats. Give em a call for more info. https://www.ultimatepheasanthunting.com/business/pheasants-on-the-flats/
  9. With the way the ammo shortages have been, I rarely see 6.5 creed on the shelves. What I ALWAYS see is 6 creed. Something to think about.
  10. Headed a little west of port, stopped at 100' to check the temp and screen for a few min. Found 54° 50 down so decided to drop lines and head NW. In the first 40 min we had 9 skippies, twice with one of those little guys on the main and the slider (picture). For the first hour, we couldn't get away from the dinks, but kept seeing nice marks, so continued working the area. After a few passes, we finally got a few teenagers and a 25. Got a call from a buddy saying they were into matures to the east, so headed that direction. Once we got to the area he mentioned, picked up three matures on F/F and meat. Saw the rain was coming, so packed it in and had a few "pops" at the dock. Ended the day 21/23, hot setups were meat, old school mag NKs and Carbon 14

  13. Easiest is to swap the battery. Are there any bare spots in the cable? Are all other metal connections insulated from the water (as best you can)? Are you getting this reading all the time? Below a certain depth?
  14. Tackle shop in Olcott has a box, and full of new spoons for a decent price. Unfortunately, I forgot what he was asking for it Sent from my SM-G965U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. TTT. I'll be at the Oak this weekend in case you wanted something FTF and save on shipping

  17. Installing a new transducer and have a few dumb questions. Does anyone make a transducer wire splitter? And does anyone make and adapter from one brand to another? I'm hoping to go to a Furuno and a Raymarine. Has anyone ever done this? Both units are NMEA2000 compatible, so is that an option with some sort on interface/junction?
